jwmyers23
My 80 something 4.3L 4x4 S-10 Blazer I had in high school. I really liked that thing but I always had tranny problems with it. 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Centurion edition I bought after I got out of the Navy. I lost control on some ice and tagged a tree. Fixed it and added a ram air hood. Then one night going home from my girlfriends (now wife) house I tried sleeping and driving. It turns out that I'm not to good at it. I don't remember a whole lot about the accident but the state police said that I flipped 4 to 5 times. I was ejected and tossed about 15 feet away from the truck. I was very lucky the only injuries I had was a small cut on my back and a huge brush burn on my sholder. It could have been much worse.
silverton
WOW! at the dodge, you're crazy lucky! 1995 Ford Escort Station Wagon. It was all the same color when I got it, I used it as my bumper car.... 1995 Ford Escort Sedan, took much better care of this one, but it just quit starting one day, this one was multicolored from the previous owner. 1986 Ford Taurus, replaced the escort for about 700 miles, engine blew.. but it was a $200 car, so whatever! 1982 Toyota Celica-Supra, 5mph rear ending totaled this one! Only cracked a tail light and bent the lip on the hatch, but whatever! 1985 Toyota Celica-Super, the insurance money bought this one, it was a serious lemon! Eventually sold because I done dealing with everything! I had it for quite awhile, a few engines, and a handful of transmissions later... 1985 Toyota-Celica Supra, I got this one from a friend after he deployed. They were twins. Wrecked this one in the snow due to bald summer tires 1991 Ford Escort GT. This car, I miss the most, by far! It was so much fun to drive! Motor developed rod knock, was in the motions of rebuilding a beast high compression N/A motor for it, and my buddy says I should get a 4x4 so we can wheelin. So I sell it and buy a Pathfinder, friend never wants to go wheelin cause he doesn't want to break anything.
silverton
1995 Nissan Pathfinder XE. Did some mods, wheeled the piss out of it, and still sold it for a profit. And now we're to my current vehicles, 1987 Nissan 200SX SE-V6 and my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder SE-V6

Kyle94
First i had my 1993 Subaru Legacy L AWD 25th Anniversery Edition (Power everything) 5spd. 212k miles, got for 100$ cuz the motor had a "knock". after reving/racing the @!*% out of it, and some engine restore, it was good to go! Traded it looking like this before i was 16... I miss it ever so much... But in the trade i got this... 1993 Nissan Pathfinder XE BASE model. 205k miles. nothing special 4x4. Had a "bad throwout bearing" you know how that goes... and one odd sized leaky tired... -_- How i first saw it: After to 250$ transmission swap, and 31" tires. Removed the flares and went playing! sold it after about a year, for $2250. with 212k miles Then bought my next... beauty?? Cuz i wanted something more luxurious.. lol 1992 Nissan Pathfinder SE on 20's wit 171k miles. quickly lost the 20's within about 2 weeks of owning Picked up some american racing outlaw II's from My1path for $100. went on a few play trips and to the beach. Then sold it for $2500 and bought my current 1994 Nissan Pathfinder SE Offroad Edition with 205k miles in mint condition (babied): description in my sig, and on my profile! JamesRich
Damn, some of you guys swap vehicle like underwear! Here's mine. I don't have any pic of it but my parents bought me a 1980 thunderbird when I graduated high school. Wanting to be a mechanic and thinking everything had to be a hot rod, I went through four engines, three transmissions, and three rear ends on that car. After I graduated from UTI, moved back home and got a job in 88 I bought this truck. This pic was scanned because we didn't have digital cameras back then. It was plain when I bought it with 50k on it. I put the stillen ground effects, I think they were american racing wheels, and the sleeper cab for a pair of 15s. When my daughter was born in 96 and I had no place for a car seat in the ranger, we had to go everywhere in my wife's stanza. So I traded the ranger in 97 with 177k on it for my 90 model chevy. This one had 130K on it when I bought it and I rolled it to 282K before I traded it in 04 for my first titan. I tried the sleeping while driving too and it didn't work out for me either. I totaled it and then bought it back from the insurance and that's when it got the cowl induction hood, new wheels because I broke one of the custom wheels it had when I crashed it, a 2"x4" drop kit, a 94 style grill, and a fresh paint job. This is the only pic I have of my first titan, an 04 and it was dirty. Christmas 04 I bought my kids some new toys. See how much snow we get down here in dec! I had one problem after another and was tired of going back to the dealer and wanted to step up to an LE so I traded it in dec of 05 with only 17K for my current 06 titan. I don't really have any good pics of the 06 but it looks just like the 04 but has step rails, the utility bed, and 20" factory wheels. I also put a hole punch grill and lowering shackles in the back. The pathy was bought as a hunting vehicle so I kept the titan. As y'all can see the pathy is my first four wheel drive. I lowered everything I had before. and rolled the hell out of them. I like getting the value out of a vehicle. Between my titan, the pathfinder and my boulevard to spread the mileage out I'll probably never need another vehicle. I'll roll my nissans till I die! 5523Pathfinder
What is strange about my first car is that it was gone before I ever got to drive it. My moms boyfriend at the time had picked up a 88 Porsche 924 for me. I found out he got it from a friends car lot for a song. He asked his dealer friend to keep it at his house so I wouldnt see it until my birthday. WEll, he ended up driving the piss out of it, created a oil leak, put cigarette burns in the seat and scraped the left side on something. My moms boyfriend got his money back and ended up getting me a 84 Mustang 2.3l turbo(pre-svo). Only pic I have of it was the day I traded it in for my 91 300zx... I had my Z car for about 5 years. Lowered with Eibach sport springs(2in front, 1 3/4 rear), stillen camber kit, stillen cold air intake, ACT clutch and lightweight aluminium flywheel, installed Sony touchscreen headunit and rewired all the Bose speakers with Kenwood 2 ways. The wheels came with it and I polished them a few times. I used to drift the crap out of that car long before drifting was popular(my friends can attest!) I also had a 81 Cadillac Fleetwook Coupe de Ville. It was my moms, then my brothers, then mine after I bailed him out of some legal trouble. I dont have any pics of it. It was candy maroon with a white vinyl top. It was a cruiser and i had big plans for it until my older brother had some financial issues while building his house. One of the contractors saw it and said he would finish the work in trade for the car, so away it went. I also had two 280zx's, a 81 and 83. The 83 was pretty much a parts car. I got the 81 up and rnning well. A kid i worked with offered to buy it and he was in a pinch. I let it go and two months lather he ran a red light and was t-boned. I traded in the 300zx for my pathfinder have it to this day. I did buy a 93 Hardbody that i turned into a minitruck. Not crazy, jut a 3-4in Belltech drop kit and toxic drop shocks. I bored out some QX56 wheels i got for free. Fun truck, just basic. I sold it and held onto the money which eventually puchased my 2000 Quest to haul the family around. Im not a minivan guy, but couldnt pass it up for $1000. Edited March 1, 2012 by 5523Pathfinder

nismothunder
Bah, I wanted one of those trucks but in 4x4 after seeing Ahardbodys friends one. It seems they didnt rust out as quick as toys and nissans. No pics but heres my list. 1989 F150 4x4 lariet, extreme baase model (remeber the lareit was a two tone paint package) My old man bought it new in 88 as a custom order, drove it 20k a year until the 302 died in 2000(it had a non od 4 speed granny box) Was repainted in 94. Pretty much the same now but the 302s a little bigger and 20+ year old EFI is giving me throuble. 1965 chevy impala sport coupe, 283/power glide, factory air. bought it in 03? as my first real car. 1965 chevy impala sport coupe, bought it in 03 as a parts car. From texas was mint besides a crumpled driver side q-panel. 1991 camaro rs bought in winter of 03/04. Had 125 or 135k on it and its never been any problem, currently has ethier 273 or 277. Texas car 1986 bronco 2, got it for free from a guy my oldman worked with. Was mostly bondo and the 5 speed was dieing. Junked it after beating it. 1986 Ford crown vic ltd, 302 slush box death mobile. Was a fun car, many a mail box and shopping carts died because of this beast. Got 20+mpg too boot. Was driven through a cinder block wall in 1999, bought from grand parents in 06(?) with 160k on it. Was driven in winter only and I smeared bondo all over it. Junked in Jan of this year. It had pump'em hard brakes and would take off with out notice at full throttle at random times. 1976 k20, 454, 37 tsl's. Was a beast. Broke a lot of front axles with it and sold it for the price I paid for it after beating. 1995 Nissan pathfinder, bought it as a rusty stocker, still is rusty but shes got a chevy heart now. 1989 pathfinder, 4 popper,5 speed. Sold it to a buddy. 1979 j10 thrift side honcho, had a t18 and a pontiac 301 v8, sold it. Ran decent but the choke didnt work on the carb. Kinda miss it. Chevy luv, unknown year, fixed the dizzy and put new tires on it. Drove it a while then sold/traded for a Dodge 150 1984 Dodge 150, short bed reg cab with a od 4speed maneul. 318, 4x4. Did a little body work and sold it 1994 chevy x-cab snow plow truck. Bought it, plowed a little snow and then sold it. Ran strong and the former owner said its 305 was rebuilt with a cam. 1999 Saturn SL1, POS that I never should have bought. Drove it 7k and it blew up, drove it 1500 mile and it blew up. Got junked with Crown vic. 2002 f150 x-cab fx4, got it in 09 when my grand parents died. Had 67k, currently has 113k. Still runs real good. 2000 f150 long bed reg cab 4x4, 4.2 5speed. My dad bought it in jan 01 to replace his 89, bought it from them in 2010(?) still got it and its been trouble free. 111k. Rides like a boat on 32x10.5's. My next purchest may be a 94 toyota 4x2 short bed with the 4 popper/ 5speed for a cheap high mpg truck in the summer. But I'm not sure if I can fit my atv in the bed. adamzan
1993 Pathfinder SE - got it from my dad, drove it for a little bit until the frame broke (back when the frame issue was unknown). Had probably 30,000km when he bought it. I put maybe 1k on it. Had 337k when it was taken off the road. Parted it out and sold it to a scrapyard. 1993 Pontiac Grand am - grandparents gave it to me to drive to college, was good on gas and only had 80,000 when i got it. Passed it onto my brother. Sold it. 1995 Pathy XE - Bought in November 07, modded it, wheeled it, drove it across the country and back, sold it but buyer backed out recently. Had 210,000km when bought and has 384,000km now. 1995 Pathy XE - Another member here and I bought this thing as a parts truck, had 227k on it and ran mint but was very rusty and dirty (was used as landscape truck). Sold a bunch of things, made more than double my money back while fixing our rigs up as well. Sold it for scrap. 1995 Pathy SE - Bought it for 100 bucks from a buddy's neighbour who needed some fast cash. Needs a little body work but it will make a good DD. Has 182,000kms. Sitting in the garage. 1994 Pathy SE - Bought from a member here, has 4 new tires, body lift and xterra rack. Excellent frame and body on it. Plan to swap all my mods from my current 95. Has 240,000km Edited March 1, 2012 by adamzan

red_91pathy
my first car was a 1962 chevy corvair not this one obviously lol, i couldnt find any pics of mine. it was white original paint so any light scratch would show metal underneath. then i got a 1992 toyota celica it was a good car, my first stick shift. but i dont get along with front wheel drive so she had to go. this i when i got my love, a 1977 datsun 280z. when i brought her home: after alot of work: she has a 5 speed w/short shifter and full racing suspension, done by PO. the z is by far my favorite, its so fun to drive on curvy roads then i added the pathy to the list and was supposed to try and sell the 280z but im not sure if ill be able to force myself to do it. i love her. lol so currently i have both.
