So i went rock crawling with a bunch of jeeps in my pathy this weekend and i destroyed my rear bumber. It was a plastic POS so i took it off and tossed it...does anyone know where to get a steel tubed rear bumper or should i get one custom fabricated? P.S. its a 1999 (really a 98) r50 thanks!

WTF do you bolt a bumper to on a unibody?

We use bubble gum. From the grocery store.

that bumper and carrier, $1100....

custom made $125...

:scratchhead:

Some people don't have the equipment or the skills to build one. Then you gotta add the price of materials, labor, over-head, and finally a markup for profit (it is a business). So that is a fair price I think.

My rear bumper and carrier cost me about $250 in materials. My labor was free, so it ended up pretty cheap, and I made it pretty much exactly the way I wanted.

Though there was likely more swearing involved in building mine ;)
