kefferjoe
So i went rock crawling with a bunch of jeeps in my pathy this weekend and i destroyed my rear bumber. It was a plastic POS so i took it off and tossed it...does anyone know where to get a steel tubed rear bumper or should i get one custom fabricated? P.S. its a 1999 (really a 98) r50 thanks! GrimGreg
WTF do you bolt a bumper to on a unibody? Yeah, not a single aftermarket bumper made for it.

Pezzy
WTF do you bolt a bumper to on a unibody? We use bubble gum. From the grocery store. P... ahem... and on a less hostile note, I moved this thread to the R50 section.

Northernpathy
That bumper is nice, but the carrier is horribly ugly.

Northernpathy
that bumper and carrier, $1100.... custom made $125... Some people don't have the equipment or the skills to build one. Then you gotta add the price of materials, labor, over-head, and finally a markup for profit (it is a business). So that is a fair price I think. My rear bumper and carrier cost me about $250 in materials. My labor was free, so it ended up pretty cheap, and I made it pretty much exactly the way I wanted. Though there was likely more swearing involved in building mine Edited September 25, 2010 by Northernpathy
OldSlowReliable
http://www.kenmtnac.com/WinPat9699.html Scroll to the bottom thats GOTTA be new... I like their rear bumpers more than the front bumpers...the fronts stick out SO far that it looks gross.
