Transfer Case Skid Plate

Is the pathfinder supposed to have a skid plate on the transfer case? I don't recall seeing one on my 94 but I know my 87 Hardbody had it ??

My '95 just had a plastic type belly plate that covered that area, I soon lost it and made my own skid plate.

I think it was an option because my SE pathy's have it and my XE doesn't.

I have the one with all the circle holes through it on White Owl and the parts truck... but am lacking the front skid for some reason

my 89 xe (sport package) has the holy kind. It got pushed in on a few places but its still holding.

Yeah, both of mine had the stock one. I made a custom one out of 3/16" steel for my 93 using the stock one as a template.

Nope, my 93 was an XE with stock skid, nothing special (ie electric do dads, etc.) on the truck.
