vengeful
Spun from the What Song Are You Listening To Right Now, thread.... If you were going to be driving somewhere, by yourself, say...2 hours away, and had 10 songs to bring with you on a CD, what would they be? These can be your 10 favorite songs, the 10 best driving songs (in your opinion, of course as everybody's tastes in music is different), or your 10 favorite wheeling songs, or just 10 songs you happen to like right now...share em! For me, my top 10, all time, favorite driving (not necessarily related to driving, or roads, or cars, but songs that I like to drive to) songs are: 10: Life Is A Highway - Chris Ledoux 09: Too Many Humans - Buckethead 08: Hotel California - The Eagles 07: Not Too Beautiful - Beta Band 06: Turn The Page - Bob Seger 05: I Am The Highway - Audioslave 04: Slow Ride - Foghat 03: Highway To Hell - AC/DC 02: The Joker - Steve Miller Band 01: Radar Love - Golden Earring

nunya
1. Money For Nothing by Dire Straits. BEST INTRO GUITAR RIFFS EVER. Crank it as loud as it'll go and it still won't be enough for me. I can give that 100% as long as its' the uncut version with the like 1 1/2-2 minute intro and it don't cut the one verse out. As for the list, depends on what I am driving
BowTied
I can give that 100% as long as its' the uncut version with the like 1 1/2-2 minute intro and it don't cut the one verse out. As for the list, depends on what I am driving X2 on the uncut version AND the what I am driving. Driving anything: RUSH! Driving the Chevelle: Running with the Devil, VH Poison, Alice Cooper if I am in the mood She Sells Sanctuary, Cult Anything by the Billy Idol, Cars, .38 Special, older INXS, Van Halen, Lots of 80s rock Driving my Jimmy/Pathy: Nickel Back, Chilli Peppers... aw crap, I need a top 100 list er sthg! mjotrainbrain
Well gee, can't turn down the opportunity to play with a dead thread. I'm bad with narrowing things down to a top 10 list, especially music, so I won't bother. Instead, here's the CD's and cassettes that are in my QX4 right now: CD: Metallica - Master of Puppets Slipknot - Slipknot Rammstein - Sehnsucht White Zombie - La Sexorcisto Metallica - Metallica Books and Dunn - Brand New Man Cassette: Ratt - Out of the Cellar Ratt - Invasion of Your Privacy Alabama - My Home's in Alabama Hank Williams Jr. - Some kind of best of album, too cold to go out and check CD's that I've had in there previously: Mudvayne - L.D. 50 Primus - Pork Soda Godsmack - Godsmack Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine KMFDM - Angst etc..... Lots of first albums; lots of these bands were great right out of the gate! Basically heavy metal with some country thrown in. Anybody else like that kind of stuff?
