Ramithepimp77
Hello everyone! I haven't been around for a LONG LONG LONG time but now I am back too. My last computer died. So I got rid of the internet all together and didn't do a thing about it until recently. I lost my old phone with everyones numbers that I did have. I won't be such a stranger anymore though. Just thought I would say hello to all especially those who may remember me. Aaron... I MISS YOU! Josh from Bend with the HB.... I'm pretty sure you come on to this site every once in a while... I owe your buddy those wheels he bought from me. I still have them. Rami

Ramithepimp77
Ya my Pathy has been sitting around the yard just waiting until I can afford to work on it. I'm almost done paying off my credit cards which is a GREAT thing. I used to drive it around every week or so just because I miss it but now that my red top is finally done for I have nothing until I get a new battery. Good memory by the way. Ya the tranny is still sick. I am thinking as soon as I pay off the cards maybe it's time to rebuild it. When I start working on it agian (SAS this time for sure. Already have the full widths just waiting...) I will drop the tranny and take it to a shop or something. I DONT KNOW??? any ideas? Other than that.... I've been ok though. Working alot and play football during the summer. I just finished up my third season. We went to the championship and lost 7 to 3. Not very cool. RedPath88
I had to swap my trans not to long ago too. Started making noise in all but 4th gear (5sp). It's not that difficult, I managed it by myself. Perhaps you can find a good wrecking yard replacement? I lucked out and found a whole truck for $100 To bad about losing the champ, but hey.. atleast you made it there, right? I mean that is better than all but one other team did! Precise1
Hey, welcome back Rami!! I will drop the tranny and take it to a shop or something. I DONT KNOW??? any ideas? Is your tranny manual or auto? If it is manual, yeah, pull it and take it to a shop to see about a rebuild. If it's an auto, throw it in the trash and find a manual from a wreck... Dowser
hey Rami... been ages. Glad to see you back. I'm sure you could even Find a Wreck of a Pathy with a working Tranny in it out there somewhere for a few bucks.

Ramithepimp77
hmmm..... Oh common Pezzy... You know you miss me too Is your tranny manual or auto? If it is manual, yeah, pull it and take it to a shop to see about a rebuild. If it's an auto, throw it in the trash and find a manual from a wreck... I MISS YOU TOO B!!! Oh man so many great people. I MISS YOU ALL! Anyways I have an auto. I know I know NOT cool. I asked someone once about going from auto to manual and they told me it was WAY TOO HARD. If I were to keep the auto I would be scared to get a tranny from a yard or pull it out of a used pathy that I got a good deal on because as all of you know... It's like a ticking time bomb. The tranny WILL go out and with those especially who knows how long it will last me. Thats why I was thinking about getting it rebuilt. I'm sure that way it will last a little longer. Ya know? Thoughts? To bad about losing the champ, but hey.. atleast you made it there, right? I mean that is better than all but one other team did! Well my problem with that is my first season I went to the first round in playoffs. Second season we went to the championship and lost. This season (third obviously) we went back to the championship and lost again. That isn't supposed to happen. I had one of the refs from that game come up and talk to me recently and he said we lost that game because of the refs on the other side of the field. I hate losing but I really hate losing when you know your team is better in every aspect of the game but there is nothing you can do about it and the game is handed to them. He got a Frontier a while back, but may have gotten rid of that, too. I dunno. Haven't seen him round these parts in a LONG time. I was just thinking...."hmm....I wonder what happened to Rami" the other day and BAM.... Welcome back Rami, good to see ya.

Thoughts? The rebuilds don't necessarily work well or long. As for auto to manual swap, no, it's not THAT hard. A lot of work, yes... You really need a donor vehicle though or you will get nickel and dimed to death. I just bought another 95xe and this one is an auto that has been rebuilt. Do I trust it? NO!!! I'll be pulling the manual tranny from the old 95 and setting it aside along with everything else required (Petal assembly, MC, lines, slave cylinder, drive shaft, clutch parts, flywheel, shifters, console, etc) B

Precise1
I seemed to remember there was some difference, perhaps the tranny spline interface? All need to be determined before I stash the parts, but I have some time before that happens. Still, if you have info I'm wrong about, I'd love to hear it!! vengeful
B, Here's a link to a PDF written by Keith (System-F) when he did the 5-speed swap in his R50. Part numbers and such will be different, but the mechanicals and overall steps should be very similar. http://www.fnd4pth.com/NPTC.pdf <---Link
Mr. Pickles
Rami! Long time, how you doin? Still playin round with guns? Sorry bout your remaining tranny issues, but they should be able to be resolved cheap and relatively easy. Stick around man, have a look around these parts again! Ramithepimp77
oh yeah about your championship, are you on defensive line or offensive. You did a good job if you were defense! Right Tackle... OFFENSIVE Right Tackle. We got screwed. Every little bit that went right for us got called back with flags on..... Who knows because not even the refs would say who or why half the time. If we or the coaches argued they would threaten to kick us out. The championship recap... if you guys get bored sometime. REALLY bored. They even threw a flag before the ball was snapped. When asked what the call was... get this... HOLDING!!! How in the F??? I am a pretty honest person and we got ROYALLY screwed. There were a couple touchdown drives that got killed by the refs ALSO the other team should have got a safety (in my opinion) and that wasn't called either. So the final score should have been something like 10 or 17 to 9 with us on top. Anyways I don't want to get all worked up again. I'm still trying to get over it. Back to the pathfinder stuff haha TODAY I actually jump started it and drove it around the block a few times. Still runs pretty strong. hit a couple puddles for old times sake. My friend that used to be my spot when I used to go out was so excited. He was saying how much he missed it and wanted me to hurry up and get everything done so we can go wheeling ASAP haha. Ramithepimp77
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I forgot to mention..... While I was gone I trimmed up the front end a lil (which will turn in to a LOT of trimming soon enough), took out the AC, and relocated the ECU to the glove box. That is pretty much it. Ramithepimp77
If I were more creative I would have mounted it on the flippin ceiling. I just can't stay away from water. I don't know why. While it is sitting around I plan on doing little things here and there to it. more surprises in store? Rami
