  1. Weren't you selling your pathfinder because it runs like absolute crap after your mods?? SOrry guys, Pathfinder VG33's are not meant for ANY type of horsepower. If I were to throw money away, i'd be lighting my blunts with flaming benjamins, not installing lighter pulleys on a Nissan SUV.
  2. Hmm. DO you think an A/t tire is better for hard snow and M/T for slush deep stuff?
  3. I heard a little differently... I heard they turn into slicks with any mud or snow?
  4. found at images.google.com i dont remember the search terms // hosted by a russian website
  5. how that optima treat you?
  6. i have KYB struts up front and my QX4 glides over terrain like i'm riding on a cloud! people always complement how smooth my ride is when offroading.
  7. ya LOL thats what i was thinking I've got an axle in the rear, i don't know about you guys? The long poles with bushings that hold the rear axle, are those called control arms too?
  8. clean everything except plugs, wires, anything electrical, and headers. all else is OK to wash.
  9. Oh we have a comedian in the house!! On another note, I went to Baja for 5 days, got back on Sunday, and Yes, I did get stuck in the deep sand again. Had to get a really long rope, and a girl pulled me out in a 4x4 trooper. I've been getting stuck there for three years now. I need a locker, badly.
  10. Anybody know how compatible these kits are for R50's?? MMMMMMM thats hot.
  11. where the hell does it get so cold???
  12. Good idea, I haven't been doing that. I'll try again.
  13. I have a VG33 in my 99. My oil level is below the "low line" on the dipstick when cold. It goes up and way above the "high line" when the motor is hot. I've never seen such a discrepancy in any other car. Which is an accurate indicator of oil level?
  14. I've seen 99's go for $6k with that mileage. Nissan timing belt interval is 110k - i bet it hasn't been changed. I would check for any exhaust leaks at the header... also drive it on the freeway and see if the truck rides smooth or if it sways. Check to see if the steering wheel shakes and let go of the wheel to check the alignment. I'd say a 99 pathy with 90k miles can go for $8k if it has full maintenance records.
  15. Sounds like you have some air in your brake lines.... This definitely messes with the brake pedal and also changes with altitude. Try bleeding your brake lines?
  16. so youre saying that the rear struts are not the problem? why did dean mention the front shocks?
  17. What year did Nissan change the rear strut setup to prevent freeway swaying?
