  8. what the hell? how did you do that oh, thats the sweet spot when you pull back. im talking about twisting the knob.
  9. hehehehhe well I was sitting in the drivers seat , messing with the light switch theres OFF, parking, and then headlights. hold your fingers on it very still, and try to get it between parking lights and headlights. There is a sweet spot where the foglights work but the headlights don't!!! It's kinda tough to get to, and the problem is that it's not very stable. When you use the turn signal, it usually turns the headlights back on, and it probably wouldnt hold while offroading, but it's a cool mod if you're just cruising down a boulevard or something. have fun guys!
  10. I believe my 16" 99 qx4 rims are 3.75" backspaced.
  11. Mine is a 4/99 QX4 but still considered a 99 no power outlet relay like in these pics I wired my radio shack peg leg fog relay to the + terminal on the "A/C" relay. That way I have independent fog lights that still turn off with the car!!! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/727953/6 Great write up!
  12. I have towed a lot of 4x4 R50 pathfinders from the rear (even my own) with no problems. The front driveline is disengaged in 2wd. I wouldn't recommend it for long distances (over 25 mi), get all 4 wheels off the ground. I also towed an R50 pathfinder upside down on it's roof once (on a flatbed, bad crash) it worked quite well.
  13. yes, its illegal to buy a used cat in cali, but i have connections at the jy, $75 with o2 sensor.
  14. Bose doesn't do too well with aftermarket components. I bet if you rewire to some aftermarket speakers, it will sound a lot better, Alpine is quality.
  15. So is life..... We have similar markups and prices in my line of work... For example, if it's a $4 part and takes 5 minutes to put in, we charge the customer $40 for the part and $70 for an hour of labor. It's the only way to make money.
  16. Whats a good price for an optima red top?
  17. You're going to want to lock it up when you get stuck in 4wd, and trust me, you will.
  18. Nice picture, I take my statement back! small Honda's are like Legos compared to Pathfinders!
  19. that looks good!! did you get a deal on the lights?
  20. When you put it in reverse, does the tranny make any noise? do you hear a grind, or do you hear nothing? do your reverse lights go on?
  21. What happens when you try to drive reverse?
  22. I had my wheel bearings greased and repacked for $75 a side. It looked super easy too, I simply lack the skill and ability.
