I was actually surprised when I didn't see any on mine when I started all those useless threads and got my post count taken away. Here's a question... do they actually have an effect on posting and such or are they just an indicator? Not sure how it's implemented on the boards (not that I want to find out first hand) but was curious.

I'm confused by the original question... are we referring to the fact that the seat bottom flips up forward and the seat back folds flush (or close enough) forward once the headrest is removed or do you mean having the seat back fold backwards laying flat on the cargo area? Perhaps you don't like the fact that the latching edge of the seat bottom sticks up and takes up a precious 10 inches or so from the top of the folded seat back to the back of the front seat. Could it be that you are folding the seat back forward before foldsing the seat bottom up out of the way? If this is the case, there's a little strap tucked in between the seat bottom and the seat back that you can probably find buy digging around like you were looking for a quarter. It's in the middle of each seat. Pull it up and it releases the seat bottom and gives you access to another nifty little storage area for crap that you don't want flopping around in the back seat (like the tool set, a roll of duct tape, some bailing wire, rope, .45, emergency poncho, small gerbil, pictures of scooters, pez, cheddar goldfish, beer tabs, mice, spare hitch pin, gold bullion, gum, ping pong ball, or a dead goldfish). more info please

looks odd to me but what it seems you have is a raised rim to applu good pressure on the gasket where it counts. That surface should be smooth. As for the bolt flanges, if the difference between them and the 'rim' is too great, you'll simply warp the ring and lose your good seal. slight rim = good. high rim = bad and... it is my understanding that the thorley headers, although made for manuals, will work on an AT. Although they will not publish it, when I spoke with the thorley folks, they told me that they have had a lot of customers who have successfully installed the manual headers on an AT truck w/o modification. For the price, I'm not gonna try although I need some. I don't have any welding or pipe bending stuff to make any mods to them if they need it.

on my 95, it just locks the hatch when I unlock the window and won't let me open the window when the hatch is open. but... if you open the window first, you can unlock and open the hatch.

any thoughts here Andrew (SC88)?
