  1. typically, a slid section of exhaust will take a U-clamp rather than weld it. ... insert key... tap pedal a couple times... turn key... *click*..... turn key again.... *click* .... curse up a storm... pound on the dash... kick the cat... yell at the kid next door... turn the key again... KABOOM!
  2. it's getting closer..... Location______________ Date ______Local Time __Activity NEW STANTON, PA, US 05/01/2006 10:05 P.M. ARRIVAL SCAN
  3. if you need to fight to keep it running... to check the MAF, you can get a buddy to play with the connector while you keep it running. Let us know when you find the problem so that others may also benefit from your investigations
  4. I think you'll need something a little stronger than cardboard.
  5. really? how the hell woudl they know?
  6. though gas is only as expensive as a 5 foot hose and a 5 gallon can
  7. picked up my springs from the JY yesterday. Getting ready for the nor'easter
  8. Well... they're in the US As of 2:48 am on April 29, my skid plates were in Eagan MN
  9. here's a pic from a WD21 showing the font in the glass
  10. more updates.... verified yellow tag for FN's (picked up a pair off a 98 JCG limited) The first one I had, the tag had bleached out to white laying in the sun. discovered a FH spring - .50 8coil with a grey tag found an FK spring with original part number (1119) and the tag appeared yellow but that may be stained or faded. It was on a 94 cherokee sport
  11. I usually kick it into neutral if there is a long hill or something that I'm going down. I'd rather be at 700 rpm than 3000rpm for that length of time. It does add up.
  12. well... all you need is the B. The rest of the letters already exist. There are several pics around of the 90-95 lettering but none that I know of that were taken with the intention of making a font and my truck won't fit on my scanner.
  13. MSRP for an O2 sensor is $166.28. This is from the dealership.
  14. Neighbor of mine had his car painted. They masked the chrome trim but when it was done, there were paint ridges where the edge of the masking was. They painted it fine but never took the care in the finishing details. Need a color? Maaco can paint it. Need a show car? Pay the extra and go elsewhere.
  15. teh only reason I am trying to include the color is because they seem to differ between codes and sometimes the letters are too hard to read (forget about the part numbers, sheesh!)
  16. could be yellow... it's not blue or green, looks white. I'll update the post. Thanks I also think the FL are a light tan but I don't recall clearly. I was in a hurry and they were thinner than I wanted.
  17. goo-gone or similar is an adhesive solvent. You could try that. I used the peel-off method on my Honda then cleaned it up using coleman fuel.
  18. on my 95, the wires coming off the top of the MAF were actually touching the hood. When I'd hit a bump, they'd flex and I'd get intermittent open circuits causing the truck to run like crap. I pulled the connector and rebuilt it, making good connections, and made teh wire come off at 90 degrees so it didn't rub anymore. Never a problem since. btw... easy to check. get the truck to idle then pop the hood and f'k with the connector and wire. If there's a break, it'll be obvious by wiggling it.
  19. I believe so. I know the fuel pump is in the tank but don't exactly where to access it through. Lift your carpet and it should be obvious.
  20. Actually, I've had several trips where I drove in heavy fog or snow with just the fogs on and not the headlights. Illegal in PA but it works better than being blinded
  21. The solution is simple... pump up the volume!
  22. 93 is similar to the 95 (which is really a 94 with a suppliemnt manual) best to go with the year you are looking for as the wiring diagrams tend to change
