If you choose the pathy, you'll find plenty of good info here on the forums. If you choose the otehr... don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. :D just kidding.

but she'll let you go mall-crawling with all those hazardous light posts? oh, i get it, you're playing the "someone else hit me in the parking lot" card, right?

mine has a cig-lighter plug and I just keep it in it's little hardcase until I need it then plug it in and throw it between the seat and the center console.

I love my BP's and Marcel is a great guy to deal with. Shipping from Manitoba was only about $100 for a full set and it only took a few days. I've heard about AC taking MUCH longer and having virtually NO customer service. my Black Panther install pics

if you're concerned about your scuff being from the parking lot, it's time to go wheelin and make sure you 'accidentally' kiss a tree and mask your pk-lot oops.

I was unaware that a speaker frame carried any current. well, ya learn something new every day.

how convenient. sheesh! hey 55, you got tiny hands or do they train you guys magic tricks to get at this stuff?

most people have windows in their pathy. Mine only get wet when I pretend I'm a u-boat.

it IS possible to read the codes yourself by using key position and the little dial on your ECU but the procedure is not straight-forward. It's contained in the EC section of the 97 FSM somewhere around page 49 or 50. Easiest way is to hit an autozone or someplace like that and they should read your codes for free.
-
now now... let's play nice. It is not clear in that thread which year it is for. Obviously it lists the codes for the WD21's but the procedures do NOT match those for my 95. And, Z has a 97 which may be different alltogether.

locate the connector as indicated on pg EC-327 and follow it to the valve

at least he has his rig year in his profile. There are SOOOOOO many people who come in here and ask questions like "will a bladieblah fit on my pathy?" and they have no indication of year, location, etc listed anywhere. There should be a way to ban stupid questions from being posted by people who don't even supply basic information. *jumps down off soapbox* As for JB, he asked a simple question and his questions were answered. Apparently, hs DID search and was concerned by the lack of currency of the information (though I don't think anyone had relocated their tranny cooler since installing it). Again, his questions were answered. No new info available. Obviously, that not being enough, I believe the next question should be "has anyone bought 2 pathys, put a cooler in one, driven them both the same over time and experienced a difference in lifespan due to the addition of a cooler?" Well JB, I believe the answer here is no. Out ont he web, youbay be able to find a general report from soem firm that actually did a similar test with 2 or more vehicles but I doubt that it would be pathy specific. Bottom line is that, if you have a pathy (specifically a WD21) you are subject to a bit of a design problem in the cooling ability of the stock tranny cooler. An aftermarket/external cooler will "probably" extend the life of your tranny but no official experiements have been done to prove or disprove it. Personal experience... I drove the hell out of my pathy, offroad, in the desert southwest, in 100+ degree weather for 5 years or so. I burned up my tranny at 75K miles. On my replacement, driving mainly streets in moderate climate, I have had no problems and have exceeded another 70K on the replacement. A $40 cooler may have saved me the $1600 rebuild (or whatever it cost).

but I'm sure the dealer would replace your cat and O2's if you let them. hehehe (no offense 5523 )

holes are cheap. You can easily put a grommet in a k-mart floor mat.

It's nice to be only 72 miles from the parks. Easy to just pop up for the day.

I have a buddy who owns a printing shop and he can cut vinyl. I thought about gettign a bunch of nice "mall crawler" decals made up and carefully adding them to all the hummers and jeeps around here that have never even seen dirt. I'd have to get "mall crawler wannabe" made for the honda's.

they serve cat on this side of the country.

I followed a Pilot in to work today. Have you ever looked at the rear suspension from behind? NO CLEARANCE! It actually seems to go out of it's way to dip down for less clearance. While I love the durability of the Hondas in general, I have a 95 pathy that I have abused for years and she's still running strong.
