If your rocker panels weren't there...the doors would be the bottom of the body. The rocker panels aren't meant to protect the doors, and the plastic trim crap isn't meant to protect anything either. The plastic trim is NOT a rocker panel, and it is NOT rock protection. It is aesthetic trim...no more. The only way to protect your sheetmetal from rocks is so stay the hell away from them!

That plate only exists if you have an automatic. On a manual transmission vehicle, that's where the clutch m/c and reservoir sits. Behind the #6 spark plug on the firewall, there is a large gromet where the main harness passes through the firewall. You can cut a slice in the grommet and push the wire through. It'll come into the cabin about a foot or so up the firewall behind the gas pedal.

I've got half a boot on each of my struts....lol. When I replace me struts this weekend, I'm replacing the boot. It makes sense to, especially if you drive off-pavement. Dirt can get down into the strut body and screw stuff up.

Or....you could just go down to WallyWorld and pick up a can of RhinoLiner. That would actually protect your truck and not look ridiculous - ok, it would look ridiculous, but it would look hardc0re, yo!

They will mount. I would go with a set of rock sliderz though. They're much more durable, you can actually stand on them if you weigh more than 130lbs without breaking them, and you can use them to jack up your truck. Oh, and they look badass.

That's just trim. It won't protect against anything. Might also be referred to as a rub-strip.

Don't bother with those. The rear sway bar doesn't really do anything to begin with, and you don't get any more articulation by disconnecting it. The Quick Disconnects that AC sells also like to make clunking noises.

Sure....but it wont be all that helpful to you. Step 1.) Buy a service manual, if you have not done so already. For this procedure, the Hayne's actually does a good job...for once. The FSM isn't that great for it.

Yep....you can also use a piece of ABS or PVC pipe, too. How did the baseball bat work for you with the lift? I've got what seems like a ton of wheel gap, so I dunno how it'll work. Thinking I should get some 3" PVC or something to use instead....I dunno.

The only electronic locker that Nissan ever offered is on the new Titan, Frontier and Xterra. I think those wires are for the ABS sensor, if your truck is so equipped. Can you get a picture of the wires?

No...the IAT has nothing to do with the MAF. The IAT is a little sensor that is in the in-fender airbox/resonator. When I get home and I can look in my manuals, I can look up what possible causes of the code would be, and we'll go from there.
