  1. Don't cry, slick. Just lop off everything in the addy behind .com/ then click on their Pathfinder link on the left side in the menu. :type:
  2. Curious... what kind of gear changes have you made to accomodate the tire height?
  3. How about trying POR15 ? I understand it works real good solving the rust problems, just prep correctly.
  4. Try a search in here ~ the shock subject's been covered 10 ways to Sunday. You'll find part numbers and everything you need to know for how high you're going, or planning on going. The Ranchos are available for any application you can dream up. Personally, from what I've read I'd stay away from the AC UCA's... try a search on that topic and I think you'll find out some of the problems people have been having with them re: extreme shimming & alignment problems, no zerks, being shorter than your stock UCA's, etc. Matter of fact, try some different boards ~ it's been discussed elsewhere, not just here. The only place you won't hear about it is on AC's board. :X
  5. TJM is a brand of front bumper replacements ~ bull bars, winch mounts, etc. Similar to ARB, although I think somewhat cheaper in price... they bolt up to your frame, a little thing like this probably wouldn't have scratched the paint on one. Try a search here, there was a post not too long ago regarding both. -study- And vengeful, sorry about the H & R... I've had it happen to me ~ sucks royally. By all rights your rates shouldn't go up as this wasn't your fault being parked & unattended, but with the small difference between the two, I don't think I'd turn it in either... :contract: I could've used an ARB myself here a few months back...
  6. You won't see any on mine, either ~ it's called "PAINT" ! Probably spruced it up for higher Ebay bidding bucks... :contract:
  7. Dang, that's a tall '87 ! How ya planning on gettin' in there ? Nice to see a full pic, all I've ever seen is just the front in one of your avatars somewhere. Looks "formidable"... Didn't recognize you w/o the welding helmet...
  8. Definately a factory option in '87 ~ I'll have to take a look inside via the tail light hatch & see if I can see what the hey you guys are talking about... never had a any reason to look up in there.
  9. Here you go.... 4Crawler Rock SliderZ Fixed the link... sorry...
  10. Sounds like maybe your oil pump's giving up the ghost, maybe plugged journals... give me guages over "idiot" lights any day. By the time they come on it's usually too late... How did it come to have "hardly any oil" ? If you were running that low you might have terminal damage ~ bearings, con-rods, valve train, you name it. :contract: Good Luck, let us know what you find...
  11. Looks good, just a shame you didn't use like a ruler or tape to show the difference in ride height a little clearer. I know it's hard to get the same camera angle, etc. Obviously sittin' taller ~ 3" BL and on go the 33's, eh ? And what's that white crap in the first shot ? Move south, my man... sly
  12. I've got an '87 with 161k, uses virtually no oil between changes... time to take it somewhere else. My RX7 did go thru a quart per 1000 or so, but it is a two stroke. You can use oil in them by driving hard, but I've never ran into that with my Pathy. Then go back and kick the stealer in the jimmy again! Now that I think about it, that should be the standard way to deal with stealers anyway... -thnkboutit-
  13. My mistake.... sorry for the bad info. Me no have DRL's on my '87...
  14. I float around all of the boards ~ Nissan4wheelers, NissanOffroad, DamagedReality, here, sometimes even AC's! :secret: Never know where you're going to find just the info that you've been looking for's hiding. I'm mainly a lurker on the others.. only came out when I saw some posts re: NPORA forums... and WELCOME !
  15. Thanks, really need to try & put that together a little better. :type: Set it up real quick just to link to pics seeing how this place won't let me upload anymore for some reason off of my home PC. Yeah... my "little" snafu there on page 2... they're all fixed... :contract: :furious:
  16. Yeppers, seriously. Lived for years up at 3rd & Maple. Don't tell me that was you I hit in Goldies ?! j/k I'll shoot you a PM or an E... :type:
  17. He's runnin' a '90... I've always used 87 octane in my Pathy with no obvious negative effects. As a matter of fact, most of it's life was in N.E. Nevada ~ they have 85 octane up there for "regular" grade. Due to the elevation (5000+ ft.), there's less "air", therefore you can get away with a lower octane rating than at sea level. -thnkboutit- I simply had a local shop install an appropriate muffler & piping when mine went south. From what I've been reading here lately, I think Borla is the only one that has a complete "cat-back" bolt on system.
  18. I've got 5% limo tint on all the back windows, legal (in NV.) tint on doors. You can see the factory "privacy glass" coating ~ makes the tint look a little different than if it wasn't there. But I still prefer it over none... makes it alot harder to see into, and a heck of alot cooler in the summer as well. Plus, you've got to factor in the "coolness"... The main problem here is the factory coating is in the glass, where tints are applied to the glass on the inside. The bronze reflective coating will always be on top of your additional tinting. -thnkboutit- Although you could always put it on the outside I guess...
  19. DUH ! I don't recall him saying in his post one way or the other as to whether or not he was in 2 or 4 wheel when this was happening ~ that's why I brought it up... sheesh Can I suggest a wheel bearing w/o getting jumped ?
  20. Well, that's with figuring where I wanted to unzip them to... some things just aren't meant to be rushed, ya know ? Like my keyboarding... :type:
  21. Sounds like a combo switch prob that's being exacerbated by your DRL module. The DRL's use a lower output of your lowbeams, right ? They shouldn't have any effect on your highbeams by all rights, but I'm sure it's all tied together in there somewhere. Might need the DRL module to complete the circuit for all I know. Loose wire/plug/faulty module could be the monkey wrench... still it wouldn't hurt to clean the contacts, etc. in the combo switch. How much for a new module? Used one you never know what you're getting... -thnkboutit-
  22. Thanx 88 ! Nice score ... And thanx to Winzip & broadband ~ 2 minutes later and I'm lookin' through them... -study-
