well i fixed the problem, no thanks to the guy who owned it before me. for some ungodly reason, he took the bleeder line out and just put a straight hose on it. i replaced the bleeder, bled the lines, and she is running fine. thanks for the help guys.

I live in upstate NY, and its pretty cold here, so every morning, i go out and start my pathy about ten minutes before i leave. the other day, i went back out to find her pretty hot. i opened the hood and found the lower radiator hose leaking. OK, no problem, so i fixed that, but it still overheats. I think it might be airlocked, but i don't know where the bleeder is, but it might also be the thermostat. Anyone else had this problem? BTW, my pathy is an 87' SE V-6. Thanks a bunch in advance.

they are 31X10R15's. i'm not sure what brand, i could have told you yesterday, but i have forgotten now. when i was at the shop, i stood them up next to 2 different 31's, and they were way bigger both times. if they do rub, i'll crank the t-bars up till i get the lift.
-
i don't have my lift yet, but my dad just baught me some really big 31's. they measure to 32's. will they fit my stock pathy? i am planning the lift for soon, but i don't know when i will get to it, but i have the tires now??? help please...
-
i'm afraid that, because i'm only mounting 31's, that if i put a 3" lift on her, she will look funny, and have too much space between the tire and the wheel well......what do you guys think?
-
thank you very much guys, for all your help. i have decided to go with 31's. 10" wide on 10" wide rims with 3.5" backspacing, and i think a 2" body lift. anyone see any problems with this?
-
if the second number of a tire size is its width, and the second number of a rim size is its width, how do 11.5" wide tire go on 8" wide rims. i am obviously not getting something, lol.
-
is 3.5" backspacing too little? it seems pretty small to me?
-
15x10" 6 on 5.5" w/3.5" backspacing rims..... will work with a 32X10X15 tire???? thats the closest to 4" that 4wheelparts.com sells in 6 lug. is that the right lug pattern, 6 on 5.5?
-
here it is quick and easy. i am going to put a 3" body lift on my 87' pathy. i want to put the biggest, widest, stick-out-the-furthest-without-me-dieing tires i can on it. i'm going to buy 15" RC rims. after that, i am at a loss, someone please be kind enuff to lay it out for me, i just spent about an hour and a half searching, and got no where. after i figure this out, no more dumb questions, i promise. this is what i need- 1. rim size i should buy, i know 15's, but after that... 2. 32X??????X15...and why is it so hard to find 32's? 3. backspacing.....??? i think thats it...thanks a lot guys
-
thats the part i did get, though it really doesn't make sense, still. but what is the difference. the way i see it, i don't really have a choice, unless i see it wrong, which is, i think, the case...
-
to be completely honest, i'm not too sure what backspacing really even is, or what the difference is between neutral backspacing or anything else. i searched, and only found 2 threads dealing with backspacing, this was one, and the other didn't help at all. thanks...

10 or 10.5
-
thanks so much for your patience guys, i have just ONE more question. an 87" with a 3 inch body lift, and 32 X 10 or 10.5's........what kinda backspacing should i be looking at?
-
so, if i were to just body lift it 3", i could fit 32's no problem???? also, is there any point in the dual-shock kits i've seen? and what kind of shocks could i get for relatively cheap, i was thinking about ranchos, how are they?
