  1. Put power to the start wire coming from the ignition switch, right after it. That'll bypass it and if it cranks, the wiring is good and likely your switch is bad.
  2. I swapped bracketed when I put an R50 transmission in a WD. No issues.
  3. What year is it? 87-93, yes be worried. 94+ you've got another 20k miles to go mileage wise.
  4. Dude you just typed it wrong. You typed "[imgj" Fix it and it will work.
  5. If using photobucket... I've taken screen shots of photobucket and then uploaded them to photobucket to link them to here as an attempt to show how to use photobucket. After you've uploaded. Second from the left link, at the bottom of the posted image. This is the typical "share" icon. Then click copy link. Copy the DIRECT LINK to the image. None other. If the image icon on our website doesn't work for you on your computer or phone (HTML issue?), manually type before pasting the link then / afterwords. If need be I'll do the same but with the desktop view so the screen is exactly as a desktop computer.
  6. Ordered a new stereo for it. Been rocking the crappy half broken one I got for free to throw in after the truck got stolen. I love Kenwood's Excelon stereos, so I got the better version of what I had in it before.
  7. Dude if that would have snapped going down the highway...
  8. Rear mount. How did you manage to snap the control arm?
  9. Put a layer of Stinger in the driver's door. It's quiet as a mouse now but the added weight made me notice the sagging door hinge pins more. I really need to fix that... My old torch down roofing material is starting to come unstuck in some places so I'm going to re do the whole truck.
  10. That's usually a solenoid issue, the "pull in" winding had gone bad.
  11. Plus stronger and more reliable. Also allows you to switch between 2 and 4 wheel when you're driving if you lock the hubs in when you hit the trails.
  12. Could be bad CV axles or hubs. Backing up to disengage the hubs is normal.
  13. Even if water doesn't leak on to it, it's in the air.
  14. Ha. Hahaha, my bad! CLEARLY it's an automatic because there's a pic of ATF...
  15. Did you have the heater on full hot and the fan on? When it's fully bled there will be no buddies from the radiator or bleed calve and the heater will about burn you at idle. Sometimes these motors can be a pain in the butt to bleed, jacking the front of the try know up a little helps.
  16. Have you completely burped the system of air? There's a fast idle plunger run off a wax element that pushes on the throttle cam, it needs to have coolant circulating properly through the throttle body for it to work.
  17. GL-5? Swap it out for GL-4 bud... Grab some Red line MT90 or GM Syncromesh. GL-5 will eat the transmission away.
