Quick tip on mugging. Search the badlands and put your cursor close to the right of the first digit on a 5 digit amount of $$$ then using your arrow key scroll down fast. Watch the cursor and it'll jump on the 6 digit numbers, stop and check their level. If the level is low click to see the profile. Now check their days in the game to decide for yourself whether or not you can win an attack. Good luck and happy mugging.

I agree, The only reason my space is sooo large is because I heard thru the grapevine that the game tends to give you more as if it's trying to hurry and fill in the space faster. Probably crap, but who knows. I've been only seeking turn key buggy guys for the last 3 weeks or so.
-
I just looked at mine and I have about 900 employees for turn key buggies and room for 10,000.
-
You should have 3x that much space. Look how many employees you have compared to how many you have space for. Time to spend a few hundred dollars on space.

I always hit the 100brave crimes. I can do 6 at a time now for $66,000. I have another good $$$ making tip for you guys that are up there in the game a little and already have a good shop. Your bank account gets 2% interest every night at 12:00 midnight game time. So if you have a 8-15mil shop it pays you big $$$ to sell your shop every night so that $$$ is in the bank, and rebuy it first thing in the morning. For those of us with day jobs that keep us away from the PC all day this is great because your will should be refreshed enough to train by the time you get home from your real job. Also they added a couple of new jobs to the engineer firm so you may be able to get on there if you are already maxed out in your current job quit and check it out. One more thing to mention. They added alot more to the local school section, so if you thought you were done with school check again.

I've actually been to every state except Alaska and Hawaii(Several times) and most of Mexico and a pretty good bit of Canada. Trust me, 99% of the US population can get from point A to point B without ever getting the tires dirty. (To Survive) We're not talking about the number of people who go offroad for recreation.

Simon, That's somewhat true, but it's not going to hurt anything. If it does hurt something in the drivetrain you most likely would have broke that part on the next trail run anyway. The scrubbing/skipping felt is just the tires binding up on the pavement/concrete then releasing their pent-up energy by "spinning out" just a little. ALOT of the rock crawling I do (see some of my pics and videos) is on what's called decaying granite. Those huge granite rocks have millions of sharp pea gravel sized cleats all over them from the softer outer layers of the rock being eroded for a few million years and the harder parts of the granite staying out on the surface. Those rocks give you at the very least 1/3rd more traction than the average pavement or concrete road or parking lot. I turn on those rocks to full lock no less than 100 times everytime I'm out there and it makes the pathy do some serious skipping, but I've never had any problems. I put the Pathy in 4wl when I get there and leave it in 4wl the whole time.

I think the main problem with Nissan not marketing the Patrol over here in the States, is that we have far to many paved and easily passable roads, highways, and interstates. If people "needed" a vehicle that performs when the conditions get bad and they still had to get from point A to point B in order to survive I'm sure Jeep would make a good(out of the box) offroad vehicle and Nissan would import the Almighty Patrol. Bottom line is that the IFS performs better in most aspects of road handling. Smoother, better cornering, and a "car like ride."

Sorry, but the trailing arm tools are now loaned out. PM me if you still need them and maybe I can arrange something.

I know I hardly ever go wheelin, and when I do it's the least exciting, most boring type of dirt road wheelin you could imagine. That being said. System-f has the most capable r50 I've ever wheeled with,(not seen. wheeled with) and he can do most of the same stuff I do and even he calls his rig a "caR50". We have 5-6 SASed rigs in our club of less than 30 guys. Me and my boss are known as the "crazy" ones who will try, and make it thru anything...Both with IFS. I KNOW the IFS is junk(for offraoding) and have had plans to replace it for a couple of years. Till then it does fine. Actually the MAIN limiting factor on my rig is the 31" tires that cause me to hang up my diff on the "hump" that develops in the middle most uphill trails. Driver skill? I don't know what the hell that even means. Is that were you follow a group of built jeeps up a granite rock and then watch as the guy in the yellow built jeep struggles at the same obstacle for over 15 minutes, doesn't make it and proceeds to get publicly pissed off that a IFS pathy "on stock suspension and 31inch tires" made it and he couldn't in front of about 30 spectators? Here's a pic of the type offroading I do in MY soft roader, and notice the other types of rigs in the lineup. I can promise the 8-9 built rigs we were wheelin with that day didn't "take it easy" on our behalf, nor did they have to strap us up anything. I have no doubts that a live axle under the front of my pathy would be an improvement. My point is, the person driving decides whether or not they drive a "soft roader." I'm sure the 8-9 guys in the built rigs were considering us "soft roaders" that were getting in way over our heads when we decided to run with them instead of going with the puss groups who were running the "easy" trails we were recommended to run with. Needless to say, we changed their minds and impressed the hell out of them with what our Nissans were capable of making it thru.

Yep, it's a helluva job. You can use my tools I made if you don't want to cut the bushings in half. Here's the topic I started about them. Maybe a mod can make it a sticky or "how-to".

I'm going to leave myself unarmed for the night, so free hits for you guys whether I'm online or offline. I accept bandages as tips while online, don't worry about tipping if I'm offline. My guard is low enough that most of you guys should be able to win and get great EXP. Just remember to "Leave Them" and just hit your primary weapon once then keep hitting F5 to refresh for a fast kill.
-
Anyone who can hit me while offline feel free to do so. 2 levels in one hit is awsome. I've got lots of will bottles to use, but I'm holding off it'll I can afford a good shop. If you catch me online and have the bandages to get me out of the hospital I'll disarm and anyone can hit me. My guard is REALLY low for this reason. You lower level guys can probably get around 4 levels per hit.
-
Hell ya, You finally got him!!! Spacejas, What's the story on the Nuke Shop? How much to borrow it for a couple of hours. We are afterall in the same gang and working toward a common goal... Which is seeing NPORA's Pathfinder Gang climbing to the top. :tonguefinger: TC
-
You get the most bang for you buck if you only hit the Off Road Web Site for 100 brave. Not at a time obviously, but in all.
-
You may be right, but my guard is really low so you should do a good bit of damage when you land a hit. edit* I don't think weapons matter nearly as much as stats. You need weapons, just not the best right off. I was beating guys who were 250+ with a sniper rifle.
-
Right there. :tonguefinger: I haven't verified this yet, but it seems as tho you need to buy lots of space so you can have thousands of parts on hand and a good size sales staff with high moral to make tons of $$$ on the fab shop. I'm still only making about 150k per day, but I'm holding lots of resources to try and give my growing sales staff a chance to make some real $,$$$,$$$ next week. =-)
-
I have my strength and agility a little over 100,000 but my guard is low so as long as I disarm you guys can probably still win in a planned attack.
-
I'm currently selling level ups to anyone on my friends list. For you guys it's only 1 oil per level or 2k whichever is easier for you. *VERY IMPORTANT* I have enough stats to kill you with one hit, so mail me before you try to attack. If I'm online, I'll set it up so you can most likely beat me and level up pretty easy. I accept tips in the form of bandages to get out of the hospital.(everytime you beat me it takes about 45 of them to get out of the hospital.) I just went from level 126 to 171 in 19 attacks in a row. That's 45 levels in about 20 minutes, 700+ bandages for my buddy at $50 apiece, 700+ nut mixes at $100 apiece. I'm now in Death Becoming the gang and I'm getting in with a few of the top players in the game. Pretty soon I'm going to talk to them about protecting the NPORA gang when you guys remake it. I'm locked in, so unless I broke from my current gang and started the club myself(with their blessing) it probably wouldn't last long just like before. The protection will cost, but hopefully be then some of you will have the stats and level to stand up to the attacks and wars you'll face. If ayone is trying to extort oil from you let me know and I'll take care of them.(if I can) I'm only level 171 right now, but I can kill most guys up to about 250.
-
As far as the high level guys(125+) this is true. But for the normal guys(level125 and under) you get more bang for your buck out of barf bars. The reason is that the more you level up and bump up your stats, the more you break down how effective these items are. For instance, at level 80 you start to get less than a 10% increase in energy for every barf bar you use, while the lower level guys are getting 15-20% increase per use. I'm at level 125 now and I get about 4% increase for BB and 1-2% increase for nut mix. For guys over level 300-350 it's better to use oil from what I hear. Don't forget that you can use items faster if you click it once and hit F5 to refresh as many times as needed. Same for attacking and hitting the trails. F5 is a beautiful button in this game. :tonguefinger:

You're fine as long as you have gone to the inventory and equipped your trail tool. It's a bug/glitch that some people are experiencing. Just post it up on the games forums.
-
What can you see in that pic that would make you think a retard fabbed it? IMHO it's not THAT bad looking. I think if it had a winch sitting on it and some bent tubing welded it to the top it would look pretty good. Maybe you should wait until you can fab stuff(don't forget to post pics) before calling someone a retard based on one not-so-good picture.

87 Pathfinder In Petersons 4 Wheel Drive Magazine
TrailChaser replied to unccpathfinder's topic in General Forums
I'm sure his buddies all drive F250's with 12" lift blocks under the spring pack and 44" tires also. I hate to say it, but that rig is a POS. How the hell it made a mag is beyond me. That could be the first pathy to grace the webpages of scarysteering.com What kind of tool jacks up their rig that tall and spends that kind of $$$ on tires with no freakin front driveshaft? It's guys like that who give the offroad community a bad name. I bet his idea of wheelin is to go out on some random private land and spin the tires and make massive ruts with the rest of the unitards and their jacked off 40 something inch tires. I'm usually pretty easy going and have a "to each his own" attitude, but that's just dumb. Sorry for the rant, I'll climb down off my soapbox now. -
Tips for today: When your in the hospital you can use the Box of Bandages to get out. 1 box = 1 minute When you're doing something like using barf bars to up your energy to hit someone or a trail again quicker or the Box of Bandages to get out of the hospital,,, Just hit the "use" link in your inventory once. Then hit F5 to refresh as many times as needed to get up to the desired energy. For getting out of the hospital, watch the counter to see how much time you have left while hitting F5.
