We machined some Armada rims for a Xterra guy about a year ago. We just had to open them up enough to fit over the front hubs. I can't remember how much we took off, but I'm sure we still have the program for it if anyone wants it. You'd have to know someone with a CNC mill running GibbsCAM to use it tho. In these pics you can see how much aluminum we removed. I just like this pic for some reason.?

Pathfinder project on Extreme 4X4 T.V. show? UPDATE
TrailChaser replied to jitterymonkey's topic in General Forums
I missed it... Can someone who recorded it please put it on youtube or something so I can see it? -
I just got a new cell phone that has unlimited internet access for $5 per month. Now I can get on while bored at work or anywhere and make $$$ doing crimes by refreshing. Over a hundred thousand every 50 minutes if wanted to be anal about it. Takes about 30 seconds to get the first crime, then I can just refresh till I run out of brave without even looking at the phone.

I can't believe no one mentioned the absolute best place that almost always gets overlooked by cops and their dogs in quick roadside checks.... The sunroof cover, if you're lucky enough to have one. Mine fell apart long ago so I fabbed up a new one with a steel frame and wrapped it in fabric. I still need to get it upholstered by a pro.

I got a new toy myself. :tonguefinger: 1. Using your Phaser Cannon you hit k9sar doing 118237 damage (-108237)

Good point, I plan to have a kill switch on it so I can keep it disconnected from any power until I hit the trails. It'll become part of the pre-trail checklist: Lock Hubs, Air Down, make sure all the stuff in the back is secure, and turn on the power for the winch. The wireless system is also going to be connected to an ignition(key on) power wire so if nothing else you can turn the key off if you get interference. I asked the guy about interference, and he made a good point. "How many times has someone else turned on/off your car alarm with their remote?" For me, never.

I found a wireless winch control on ebay for about $40 shipped. It's made for an ATV winch, but I figured it could be modded to work with one of our winches. The wireless remote system is basically just a transmitter(remote), receiver, two 80amp relays, and a manual switch. The system is set up to bypass the original control box on the ATV winch. The 80amp relays are big enough to run a small winch, but not big enough to run a 8000lb+ winch that can draw up to 200amps under load. Since the wireless system is designed to replace the original control box the leads to the motor are positive(+) and negative(-) and when you flip the switch the polarity switches to make the motor run in reverse. This will not work on our winches since we use beefy solenoids and the switch we use simply provides power to the positive side of the solenoid. When you push the button for line-in it sends power to that solenoid, when you push line-out it sends power to a completely different solenoid. The trick to making the ATV remote work for our winches is simple. Change the output of the 80amp relays so both provide pos(+) energy to the solenoids. One relay is already set up to output pos(+) energy. All you have to do is switch the wires on the neg(-) output relay so that it puts out a pos(+) current. Another cool thing about this system is I can still hook up a universal three prong remote to the factory socket if I wanted to and it would still work. I didn't take alot of pics, but I did take a couple of the remote box and relays when I had them out of the case. The rest are just phone pics I took in a hurry to show the system. Here you can see the wire coming out of the wireless control receiver(on the left) and the wires coming out of the two relays. Here's a different view of the wireless receiver box and the tops of the relays. This is everything that comes with it. A close up of the remote.(ugly, but it has a cool little antenna and sliding protective cover for the buttons to keep you from accidentally pushing one in your pocket. Here's the "handlebar" switch that will be used as an in cab switch. It's pretty nice, it is weather proofed and has little side guards to help prevent accidental button pushing. And finally, here's the housing for the wireless receiver and relays. David

We're working on our schedule as far as what trails to run on what days. When we get it straitened out I'll post it up over here so maybe we can try to run a trail together. I've been looking forward to this for quite a while now. Hope to see you guys/gals out there, David

I feel that people should expect damage on their rig when they go wheelin. If it doesn't happen that's great, but if/when it does happen it should be at the expense of the driver of the damaged vehicle. I've heard of guys flopping then getting out pissed off at everyone around them like the flop was everyones fault but theirs. Same thing when it comes to getting pissed at your spotter. The driver is holding the wheel, pushing the pedals and making the final decisions on what's done. If that happened to me and my friends on the trails, I would appreciate any help to fix the rig. But certainly wouldn't expect help or blame someone else. Sh!t Happens, and if people want to sue or lay blame when their rig gets damaged they should keep them off the trails.(or wheel alone)

Be glad you don't own a ford right now...

If you listen close you can hear the hammer. It's the sound of Ford putting another nail in their own coffin. We had 3 different Phords while I was growing up. My dad had a F-150 that was nuthing but a pain in the butt "what's going to need to be fixed next" type of truck that left our whole family stranded on the side of a hwy several times. My mom was a tempo driver. same s??t different phord. Those 3 vehicle insured that I would never in a million years buy a phord. These were used vehicles but not "old" by anyones standards. The worse thing about those POS's breaking down was that it was always something simple and stupid. When I worked for Oreilly Auto Parts a couple of years ago we had a district meeting for the 7 stores in out district. We all got to talking about different car companies and the D-manager pretty much told the entire staff that we should be thankful for Ford mostly, and Dodge/Chevy. Without them pumping out junk cars/trucks Oreilly wouldn't exist. While I worked there I think 60% of the parts I sold were for fords and half of those were motorcrap brand items. Then on top of that we had quite a bit of the people buying motorcrap stuff bring it back because "something" seemed to always be wrong with it. Funny thing to think about: Toyota now has MORE parts and cars made and assembled in the US than any other car maker. (Don't try to tell a Ford/Chevy guy that, they'll argue about something they know nuthing about for hours.) I think it's hilarious that I got this pic next to the Phrase "Korean Cars" -
Always check your tires air once a week and more ofter after temp spikes. If you want the best mileage and longer tire life.

The fastest way to gain access to 300mil is to join a gang that has one. :tonguefinger:

Mugging pays. :tonguefinger: You beat &^%$&$!! You knock %&$^%$ on the floor a few times to make sure he is unconscious, then open his wallet, snatch $19592, and run home happily. I removed the real name to protect my future earnings.

Ya, besides. That's no somebody you want to have pissed at you in this game. Good job making some $$$ and will.

See if you can take me out.

Just wondering, that's how much I wasted. I figured at the current market price 400,000 wasn't worth 2.5mil

Me too, "So, if you want to send DJ a PM letting him know you'll stay off his back I'll stay off your's. If needed I can have no less than 30 guys keep you in the hospital for a while." He never replied? :tonguefinger:

Would you say 400,000 stat points are worth 500 oil?
