  1. I'm always up for a holiday... :cool2: I can't wait till the fun April holiday on 4/20 sly
  2. A good mechanic would probly notice a problem with your 200,000+ tranny fluid just by looking at how black it probly is...
  3. WHAT? YEAH! OOKAAY! I thought everybody liked Lil Jon??? :o
  4. You make ringtones and wallpaper for cell phones? :o I had no idea there was any money in it... I currently have a Nextel i860 that I make my own ringtones for... The ringtones on the Nextel site are way too expensive... I can also get just about any song as a ringtone free from nextpimp not to mention thousands of free wallpapers "lots of porn wallpaper" I noticed that someone was selling (free ringtones and wallpaper) on ebay... I thought to myself... If it's free, why the he!l would I pay this guy for the knowledge??? A little googling and common sense and now I bet I've got $50 worth of ringtones for free... Plus I get my friends free stuff too... The one thing I can't quite figure out how to get free is the java games... I don't play games on the fone that much anyway tho... PS... For people with camera phones... Get any wallpaper you want free... Just take a picture of the computer screen while the pic you want is on screen, with the picture quality of camera phones you'll never know the difference... -thnkboutit-
  5. I've been listen to Lil Jon since I got my new woofer... It hits better than any other CD I have... I've also got Sublime, Tool, Cypress Hill, and lots of WinMX and Kazaa custom mixes in country, rap, classic rock, alternative, metal, punk... Everything but oldies and classical...
  6. That was strange...But funny... His roomy must dance like that all the time for him to just "know" he would get some good footage...
  7. I'm not talking about lgranch here, just quoting... Has anyone every thought it was kinda wierd that people here in the US consider Canada and Mexico to be all compacted into a a little peice of land the size of Arkansas way out in the middle of no-where... You rarely hear someone say someone is going to Quebec, or Oaxaca. It's always just "Canada, or Mexico"
  8. I'm kinda in the same boat... My wife wrecked "our" pathy by hitting a ford pickup in the arse... One of those situations where the light turned green everybody started going. Then some dumba$$ 3 cars up slams on the brakes real quick to make a right turn. The guy in front of her about hit the guy turning, but she did hit the guy in the ford... It was totally her fault as far as cops would've seen it, but the guy in the phord said he was ok and his truck was ok... "She told me he looked stoned and was probly not in the mood to talk to any cops..." We got alot of minor damage. Thankfully it was nuthing mechanial. I could hear her comming down the road from about a block away because the tire was rubbing the fender BAD... I cut off some of the flare, and took a 2x4 to the bent in fender... A little prying with a 2x4 works great for getting the sheetmetal back where it's suppose to go... I took the bumper off so I could beat it back strait and get the major dents out... Worse thing about is the a/c condensor is pushed back and the headlight mounts are busted... I put it all back togather and it looks like it been wrecked, but it looks a lot better than it did look... I plan on getting a different 95 pathy that's the same as the one I have now... I like the one I have now, but it's got some problems with the doors and stuff from being wrecked bad by a prev. owner... I want a fresh slate to work from, and there are a good deal of pathys around here for sale...
  9. Cool, but it looks like the front is sitting slightly higher than the rear.
  10. This may sound kinda dumb to some people, but... Where you pushing down while trying to shift into N or 4L? The first time I used 4L I thought my 4WD was messed up... Then I started looking around in the manual, but before I could find anything useful my wife noticed the instructions on the back of the visor...
  11. I forgot to mention that I also installed a heavy duty 12v socket in the back when I ran the amps power wire... I'll have to get some pics later...
  12. Here's my interior mods... An extra 12v socket "Heavy Duty"... I mainly installed that so the radar detector could stay plugged in while charging the cell phone, powering a spotlight, or whatever... Also my $40 Pioneer CD player. I got it off a trucker who was hurting for cash about 4yrs ago... Here's a pic of my Cobra 148 with the Astatic Mic installed next to the console... My wife hates it being there because she's always hitting her arm or elbow on the edge... I got the CB for $100 from a guy who won a bunch of "money" on the cherry machines they have in some truckstops... Bad thing for the guy was, they only give you stuff from the store as payment... He was wanting money not TV's, DVD players, CBs or other crap... I offered him cash for that CB and he took it... Half off isn't bad when I was looking for a good CB anyway... Here's a pic of my volume and tone controls for the amp to my PA speaker... I just drilled a couple of holes and ran a few wires... This is a pic of my cobra talk-back speaker... Sounds great and the best thing is, when I have the radio up loud I can still hear the CB and my wife can't... sssh I have a 12" JL Audio woofer in a kinda big box, and also a Kenwood amp. but no pics of those right now there still new.
  13. You think a capacitor would help out with my system of a pioneer head, 12" JL Audio, and a 500w Kenwood amp... The light in the head unit goes from bright to dim when I turn it up. I have the amp/woofer hooked up with the RCA's in the back of the pioneer....
  14. I was suckered into buying one of those MAF sensor resisters... I brought it to a mechanic because the instructions said it should have two wires and mine has three wires. Well,,, the mechanic advised me NOT to install it... So I didn't. It cost about $15 after S/H, so I wasn't out that much.... Just learned a valuable lesson about cheap mods...
  15. What is the capacitator actually used for??? I've seen them in stores but never quite got it.
  16. I just updated my sounds last night... My cousins Alpine got stolen out of his CRX. So he gave/let me barrow his 12" JL Audio... I hooked it up to the 500w Kenwood amp he gave me earlier. Beats the stock clarion amps hooked up to the $15 roadmaster wal-mart speaker by far... :cool2:
  17. Maybe a ______ company (no idea what kind of co. has the equipment) would be willing to do so. Somebody fill in the blanks! Somebody with a big enough lathe or similar machine tool that could ensure a straight and true bore. If they're free to you, and you could slip somebody $100 or something for the work, you'd still come out ahead. At this point its time to talk to your friends, your local 4wd shop, ricer shop, etc. and start brainstorming, cause you obviously can't walk to the corner garage on this one. You'll be looking for a Machine Shop for that kind of work. Shop around... This kind of work can have a big price difference... If you want a good deal go in wearing work clothes, sounds dumb but these kinda people make more money off "preps" ...Kinda the same reason you don't send your wife to a mechanic shop with no idea what's wrong with her car. -thnkboutit-
  18. I had to tow a 16' flatbed trailer from Houston to Memphis empty, then loaded down to the max with all my families stuff from Memphis, TN to Houston, TX... The whole trip was 1,100 miles of rolling hills. We had beds, frig, washer, drier, dressers, comp desk, and everything else... I wanted to roll it up on one of those big rig scales in the truckstop, but the wife wouldn't let me. They only cost $7.00 for the weight ticket, and you get front wheels, back wheels, trailer, and gross wieght... We did have a little bit of problems with the trailer trying to push us down the hills making us look like drunk drivers. I had a helluva drop in MPG, but I ran 60-65 without O/D in an automatic. 3.5-4 grand on the tac. That's one thing you'll want to remember is NO O/D while towing anything bigger than like a dirtbike, or single jetski. I'd also like to recommend installing a trans cooler... If you plan on towing alot you'll be glad you bought one. Welcome to the board...
  19. I'm having the same av too small problem too. Mines like that cause I couldn't see the size and just quessed. I may go resize it later. What's the normal size for AV's??? 80x80?
  20. Remember the old saying: Never buy a car on Monday or Friday, and never buy a car that was built on monday or friday. :contract:
  21. I'd go for the Titan unless you don't plan on having it over 50-75,000 miles anyway. How do you normaly drive? A Dodge may have more punch new, but lets see how much punch it has at 100,000 with someone like me at the wheel... I dought I'd be spinning the tires a lot, but I'd be dogging on it a little, that's what makes driving fun. I'm 100% behind American motors as long as you're a lease kinda person... You get the first 20,000 with no problems then trade it in on the new flavor every other year. You always have the "new" ride but never quite own the thing. I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you choose, they're both nice trucks.

    Low power

How long does it take for the oil smell to go away?
  23. I got a $15 bass tube from walmart hooked up to an Alpine 600 watt amp. I could win bass contest with that thing... I could probly blow out the back glass if I wasn't careful... Not really tho... but my walmart bass tube does hit pretty clean and deep... It was gonna be a temp sub till I could afford something of quality... But it's good enough for me for now...

    TIRES!!!

Go with the BFG's that's gonna be your best bet for price vs. quality.... If in dought head on over to tirerack.com and do their tire conparison feature... I just bought the BFG M/T's and they are pretty quiet compared to some mud tires I've heard. PS General is crap... You'll get what you pay for.
  25. The previous owner might have installed a lock right...
