  1. Really? I have mudflaps and 32's with the 2" coils and my bumper has yet to come off...
  2. Nice! Is it the NA or turbocharged QD32? If the latter, see if you can get two.
  3. For when you are out wheeling, one common option is to remove the rear bumper. It'll give the 31's a little extra clearance as well as improve your departure angle. Of course, lifting your R50 will further improve clearance. It looks like the damage to your bumper is minimal but that isn't saying much. Did the bracket snap or did it just pop out from the tire?
  4. Looks solid to me! And there are plans to add a swivel tire carrier? Sweet! Can't wait to see the finished product.
  5. Has anyone done this on a '96-'99 R50? I'm pretty sure the gauge hardware and internal dash hardware differs between the VG and VQ R50's...
  6. Putting it lightly, eh? I'd say a couple thousand miles at least.
  7. Hell, even just aftermarket IFS products would be nice, i.e. long travel struts, sturdy control arms, etc. The R50 needs more aftermarket exposure. SAS kits would be sweet too!
  8. Amazing. Simply amazing. BTW, what kind of wheels are those? And what are the dimensions? I need something similar for 33x12.5's and have no idea what's good for backspacing.
  9. The 5100's are awesome. I can't recommend a better shock at that price. For the future, I plan on running 7100's with the reservoir in the rear. Go Bilstein!
  10. Spacers aren't so much a necessity as a preference. If you don't mine a little rake in your rig's stance, go without spacers. If you want a more level stance, go with them.
  11. Complete upper strut assemblies with integrated spacers? That's a great idea!
  12. Billy, with your QX4 being 2WD, it could pretty badass to make your rig a serious desert runner. Just a thought, but it has some definite potential!
  13. Sorry everyone... It's no excuse but my tax return still isn't here. Maybe I'm getting audited...
  14. With the OME HD (923?) coils, you should expect a settled height of about ~1.5-1.75" up front and ~1.75-2" in the rear.
  15. It's important to get it done but I'm sure a week or so shouldn't cause any long-term issues (permitting the wheel shake isn't THAT intense). I would get it done ASAP, though. When I first felt the steering wheel shake on my R50, I nearly sh*t myself 'cause I had no idea what was causing it. Luckily, the solution is relatively simple.
  16. Agreed. Those wheels look badass!
  17. Aside from zipties, is there a way to adjust the LSV hardware based on a suspension lift set-up? Also, will braking in the rear be further minimized by a subframe drop?
  18. Dean, that's a great suggestion. Keep it simple, I say. I'd be a little hesitant to use heat around that area of the truck...
  19. Thanks! Debating if I should put those Helo Maxx8 wheels back on for summer...
  20. With the 2" lift coils, 32's fit quite nicely...
  21. You're located in Qatar, which is closer to Europe that North America. I'd recommend checking into ProFlex products for your R50.
