  1. Anything for a maxima 300zx or 240sx will work. You will need to modify the turn signal cancel bumps to work better.
  2. All custom if you relocate it. Either stop mudding or make a MUD guard for it.
  3. I think you can. Why can't you get it to budge? No breaker bar or long pipe?
  4. Fusible links is located at the positive lead of the battery terminal. Follow the wires and you will see them all.
  5. The crankshaft pulley has the pulleys for all the belts. The pulley is attached to the harmonic balancer which then is bolted down with 6 bolts to the harmonic balancer. The harmonic balancer is what is slotted in the keyway of the crankshaft snout.
  6. The VG33 will need you to swap stuff over from your old motor for it to work. It's been discussed numerous times.
  7. Vg33 from an xterra or Frontier. Check your gas tank for rust if it's been sitting for so long.
  8. Check the coolant elbow that feeds the lower intake plenum up front of the motor under the top coolant tube. Also check to make sure the hoses in the back for the heated throttle body.
  9. Do you hear the solenoid click when you step on the brake pedal? The pin may be sticking.
  10. 14x1.5x50mm fine thread is stock. 60mm should be good. When I had Uca, 55 was fine for me.
  11. Could be a bad distributor. Pull cap and rotate crank until rotor points at number one. You could use your timing marks on your crank pulley to verify.
  12. This is what it looks like inside the gas tank. This is the baffling that the pump kind of sits in. Pictured here is my old rusted pump that failed and its replacement. The spring loaded bar pushes down on the bottom of the gas tank and "zeros" your fuel gauge. The float as you see does not actually touch the bottom as the pump area is actually lower than the rest of the tank.
  13. Whats your vehicle mileage? Check your air filter too. It could be a clogged catalytic converter. Is the cat rattling?
  14. You're up north. I'm down south living in like 95% humidity and 100 degree summers
  15. AC stays ice cold in the summer at idle in stop and go traffic.
  16. Interesting indeed. Glad it's working!
  17. So installed the oil pressure gauge a week or so ago and have low oil pressure. Decided to drop the pan to inspect the bearings. Bearings show oil starvation and I have a good amount of metal shavings in the bottom of the pan. I posted more photos in my ride thread. I do not really want to rebuild it again so I'm going to see if I can salvage the crank and engine.
  18. Transmission kept going into limp mode and I was getting a code for VSS. Took one off a 94 4x4 and never got the code. I am not sure if it was the culprit but it hasn't came back. I still have a new TPS just in case.
  19. I replaced my revolution sensor and my issues never came back. It is sometimes mistaken for speed sensor.
  20. No air or vacuum leaks? My first guess was the Maf. What maf did you get? Can you get the readings for the Maf and verify voltage or resistance? Cleaned the maf?
  21. Your local auto parts store or rockauto. Odd hoses you can go to the auto parts store and dig around and see if you can find something close enough. Or go OEM route at courtesy parts or Nissan parts deal online
  22. Lockers only cause stress in the driveline if you're driving wreckless. Lockers give you more traction control so you do not have to use the skinny pedal. Yes, if you're at full lock bouncing. Then comes steering--tie rod ends.
  23. So this is an alternative to prevent melting to overheating the traditional h4 female plugs?
