  1. I've always wanted that extra inch!
  2. I have their lift with my Tbars cranked. My only complaint is that the front suspension doesn't compress since I have the tbars maxed out. Oh and my steering has much more wander but that's because I have most of the original steering components and right now the UCA's are at such an extreme angle due to the lift. I'll be buying the calmini steering kit soon.
  3. You can't get bilsteins for a lifted pathy unless you want to convert your front shocks to eye mounts. If you want something that is adjustable, get the rancho 9000's. Their about $85 a piece but are height and ride adjustable.
  4. You can always get aftermarket replacements that aren't for lifted trucks and aren't electronically adjustable. Bilstein, monroe, etc... should all have shocks for a stock height Pathfinder.
  5. I have the Calmini shocks, but since I haven't had my truck for 7 months I can't tell you how good they are.
  6. Send you ECU to Jim Wolf for $500 and get more horses out of it.
  7. I had a popping sound when I would turn and hit a bump or a little hole. It was the bushings. Not sure which ones though since I replaced most of them when I put the suspension lift on. Now no more popping.
  8. I thought about that, but I wouldn't be able to put it back together and all of the mechanics I've spoken to said that they won't take on the job since it has already been started.
  9. My good friend is a lawyer. Since this guy works out of his house and isn't a legitimate business, the only thing I can do is call the police to let them know that he is running this out of his house. I run into the "my mom is good friends with his mom" scenario. I was told that if I do that, I have to find another place to live. Anybody want to take me in?
  10. Well, 7 months and still no truck! This month I have owned the truck 2 years. Mechanic = 15 months (total for the 3 times he has had it) Me = 9 months
  11. I'm about to order the Pop Charger from Jim Wolf today. Even though they don't show it on their website, they do offer one for 1990 - 95 pathfinders. You have to look it up by part#. Part# PD210-1231X
  12. Mine has rear disc, but with built in drums for the hand brake. This is the most common correct or am I smoking some SH!T?
  13. I still ahven't found the guys that stole my S4. They better hope that I don't. I have a Louisville Slugger with their name on it!
  14. get that screw driver fingerprinted!
  15. yeah, I got the relocation kit already. Still haven't installed it yet, but now I'm waiting for some parts from Nissan. We're getting closer to getting it done!
  16. Well, I'm about to get the ehaders installed FINALLY! I do have a question though. When the stock oil filter is on, you always spill some oil on the starter when changing the oil. Does anyone recommend replacing the starter before I put the headers on? Also, should I have my guy change the lower balljoints since he has the fron diff off? I hear the the NAPA lower BJ are really good? 88 what are your thoughts?
  17. I read from Thorley that if you wrap your headers, you will void the warranty. Also, you can think about getting them ceramic coated. I also heard that Jet Hot is good.
  18. [Rancho Part# RAN-RS97268 This included everything!
  19. I was talking to the guy a Jim Wolf and he said that they were able to pass emisions with the cams. Here is a quote from the email
  20. I may have to do some of that stuff. I think my next upgrade will be the steering. To much play for my taste.
  21. I guess the best thing is that if I had lost any power due to the engine being old, not taken care of, I should get it all back plus some since I'm putting new heads in and have had new rings to get the compression right. It will just be nice to have my darn truck back. The downside of the chip is that they tell me it's programmed for 93 octane.
  22. I wonder how much HP I'll get with the headers and cams? :cool2: May have to get that air intake, new CAT and chip! It's only money right?
  23. YAY! Got my rods done and my pistons all cleaned up with new rings. Finally. I was told that tomorrow he is going to hone (SP?) the cylinders, put the pistons back in and put the heads on and put the oil pan back on. After that, he is going to put the headers on. He said that he is going to do the cams last. I'll try and take pics during it all.
  24. I'm looking into a high flow cat, but I don't know where to look or even what is good. Do you guys and girls have any suggestions as what to get? BTW, my mechanic STILL has my truck. He was in Florida for the past week. I called a few shops, but none of them want to take on the job since it was started already. He finally took the pistons out after 4 months to get the rods done, but never dropped them off to have his guy do the work. I've just come to the conclusion that I will have had the truck 24 months in June. Once May roles along he would have had it for 14 of the months and I've only had it for 10. Something is not right about that.
