  1. Don't worry about Torsion bars on your R50. We don't have any, just the front struts.
  2. I agree with the plating of the frame rail area that the slider is welded to. Once that is taken care of and its properly gusseted they won't move. I have landed on mine with the full weight of the rig and they have not budged yet.
  3. I know what you mean. I need to do it some day to replace my saggy springs
  4. Medium will be fine, since you aren't running a winch bumper. Hell I have metal skids up front using worn out OEM springs with very little sag.
  5. Are those Gusseted? Worst comes to worse you can cut them off and reweld them later if they move. If you ever do reweld them someday plate the "frame rail" as they are fairly thin. Looks good man, I know how it is getting the sliders after you mess up some metal
  6. They are sold as a pair. You can however source them indiviually.
  7. They all have the same travel, and the KYBs are one of the best for struts.
  8. Only thing Ive used a jack on up front was the crossmember. Its quite strong, its not going to bend from a jack.
  9. I'm not 100% sure, but the ones that have an AC int he Sku are their springs I believe they have sell OME now, with OME in the SKU. I am not sure what BD means however. They all very in price because of the different brands they have packaged together, for the shocks and struts. Honestly you will save some coin if you Just the coils from them if you want the AC lift Get KYB GR2 struts on Rock Auto and use our code its like $150 for both shipped. Don't waste your money on Rancho struts as they (from what I read) dont last as long. Get some Shocks that you like either Bilstein or Rancho Get 4 camber bolts from say Summit for $8/pair And get the Strut mounts/bearing from Nissan. the KYB ones that AC sells are junk.
  10. Ninja Kittens would be pretty sweet. Hmmm maybe better then a Trunk Monkey?
  11. Definitely a tough one hmmm. Rocket Launchers behind the headlights?
  12. Sorry, I used the wrong word, I had to replace the assembly from a JY one I had. Though, Im sure you could take an oven to them to take the lense off much like the front headlight on some vehicles
  13. put a new lense on my left taillight. Hit a cross wind coming home from MT and sent my cb antenna whipping, saw it shatter before I could stop.... Woot....
  14. Glad to hear everyone is ok. So no one else stopped to see if you were ok, and act like a witness? If not that is pretty screwed up as it lead to him getting away with it.
  15. Looks good man, just paint it black now itll help blend it some. Vibration, what about using some rubber mounts?
  16. Interested in your belly skids, also interested in how much shipping will be across the continent
  17. Good to hear everyone made it out ok Also glad to see someone has priorities to get the tunes back up in your 3rd to last pic!
  18. So it does sound like they are fairly hard to find. and somewhat spread out
  19. The reason I ask this, is I have a 5 speed and have been told by several people, that they have never seen an R50 with a 5 speed, while a few others say its rare when they do. Just curious as to how many of you out there have manuals?
  20. I definitely would not leave a gun in any of the back cubby holes. Even locked I can rip the plastic from its location. Plus I think the entire floor cubby is plastic so it can be accessed from below aswell. I would get a gunvault or build one into your rig and bolt it through the floor. Before I even thought about leaving it in the rig. Guns are spendy but in the long run its only money, I would feel like crap putting a gun in a dirt bags hands.
  21. I know I have an R50 but, I have a lot of drag uptop on my rig thanks to my basket, spare, and lights. Stock I was doing about 20mpg, now I am only down to 17 if I keep my foot out of it. Thats not all because of my lights either, larger wheels etc all impacts it.
  22. Ive been running Silverstat Ultras for a couple years. Seem to be fairly bright with a hint of blue aswell. Not sure they compare tot he PIAAs
  23. Heh, you aint kidding about the for less part. I got pulled over having a tinted license plate cover..... and I see everyone with them on now... Anyway about them CBs
  24. The firestick is only like 1cm wide, so you can barely tell its there once the brake light is on.
