  1. I had a Black and Decker set that I kept breaking in half. I borrowed my neighbors Snap-on set and it was awesome. He also let me try the lovely left hand bit. Get one, they are the holy grail for taking out broken stuff!
  2. They are awesome, I've been using mine for sometime now. Though sometimes I like the clean look of a soldered joint.
  3. Take a long screwdriver and put it to your ear. It will act like a scope.
  4. Crazy, glad he is recovering though, That second pic looks like the big rig sheared the truck completely in half.
  5. Take one of those flimsy stock crossbars and drill some holes into it. Turn it around in the tracks so the flat edge is facing forward. That way you can get the light as close to the front as possible.
  6. Odd? I don't really know. Nissan does so many weird things one can not just assume since he/she has an Auto or Manual trans he will have options A or B. Along with their trim packages, they pretty much threw in whatever they felt like for each. (I have found out)
  7. Carry a small electric impact drill and you can do it faster then 30 min

  10. He could weld the front and get locking hubs to disengage the front diff when on pavement.
  11. I am knocking myself to a maybe. My front end is in such bad shape, worn out bushings all over, bad struts and bearings. The fundage I dropped into my clutch and school starting back up has made me poor again. I will see if I can get anything done before Oct.
  12. Living in MT, I would leave my hubs locked all winter. Once summer hit though, they never needed to be locked unless offroad.
  13. Red ones are a 2 piece system that does not need to be pressed in. Black ones are 1 piece which need to be pressed in. The red ones are nice and super easy to install

  17. Got his pig out finally! Worst transmission I have ever pulled, clutch was toast around the input shaft and wouldnt let go. Had to hook a come along to my hitch and keep pressure on it while I wiggled and hit it with a hammer. Also, wish I knew about the sensor on top of the bellhousing... ohwell just need to fix it now also.

  19. Got into a fist fight with my transmission while trying to removed it....It won.
