  1. flat black makes me think of the primerblack ricer culbs (you can't join unless your only primer) but its your rig do what u want, It might look good I would think semigloss black would be a little better.
  2. It may not be too far off. keep in mind color fades over time your whole interior, if kept clean (esp parts in more sun) is prolly a bit lighter than it was new.
  3. lookin good! I wish my stock guage didn't have the orange lettering. going blue would match my kenwood stereo.
  4. just wondering, I don't know the system too well but would putting a shim behind the clutch plates increase the amount of torqe required for an lsd to actually slip and thus improve traction?
  5. stickin to the rules lol I didn't think allot of ppl did that when it came to drinking lol. I know I started underage. Good on you. edit: back on topic: there are wireing kits with temp sensors for fans that give you step by step instuctions.
  6. I thought the front skid-plate was standard equipment on all wd21 pathfinders. it keeps the water and road dirt out of the otherwide exposed alternator. somone prolly left it of while changing the belts or other maintainance.
  7. atleast 2 new accounts have been made today on NPORA strictly for the purpose of creating pornographic-SPAM-topics. Be careful (esp You pervy people) the links will automatically download viruses and false security alerts that download more viruses when you "click here to sove this problem" Pezzy has already delt with the first one (thanks pezzy) and the current offender is "kaffofame" I don't know how NPORA became a target for this and I'm sure there will be more to come so everone be careful!
  8. I can think of a good way to find out... my pockets are shallow rt now and I don't have the need for 1 yet or I would be a guinea pig. any voulunteers?
  9. wow, glad she's alive and I hope that there are no long-term injuries. as far as the pathy not starting idono what to say mine starts up below freezing even after a day of beeing almost in the sun (over 60 degree drop over night.) maybe somone else has an idea the cause. best wishes to your fiance in her speedy recovery.
  10. Looks like a good thing 4 a pathy thats also a daily driver. Now I want one!
  11. the crossover pipe might get removed, and the exhaust hanger that mounts to the tranny will be removed(possibly w/ the cat) when the tranny is pulled. but @ a minimum just unbloting the hanger and it can be dropped. Running a higher flowing cat (I reccoment magnaflow) will reduce EGT's and make your studs last even longer. not letting the engine overheat will also protect them better.
  12. Since the my Intake pulls air from inside my fender from just above the body line I the water I would cross would be sliglty below that line, to give some margin 4 error. 1 time I was in just below the window & almost stuck(big mistake) but I got sooooo lucky... (and maybe mud doesnt seep in as fast) I was able to get out b4 any thing got where it shouldn't
  13. how so? never had a problem so far been using fram tough-guard for a few years now, am I missing something?
  14. wow I very rarely get mine above 5k even gettin on the higway I usually shift arround 4500 and driving near home and work I keep it under 2200. Mine don't have any problem doing that its just gass and I think its kinda un-necessary.
  15. e-fan... if you want somting new I'm going for the new FAL Black Magic Extreme. It may be overkill but I wanna be prepared for when I go to a higer compression & larger motor...someday... otherwise yeh lots of fan talk already here about the other options.
  16. x2 or I usually call mine a truck. in 1989 the dealer slip had 3 checkboxes on the sales slip; car, truck & motorcycle (guess which one was checked) and Its built on the D21 TRUCK chassis. also X2 also my $0.02, just changing to a higer flowing cat and an aftermarket muffler will reduce manifold temps. he's got the sickness! lol I almost had it too; thought about buying Trish a 94 pathy and making a lowered (but not retarded) mall crawler out of it. but she was diving 80mi a day to work @ the time and our 33mpg dodge (#$@!) stratus seemed like a better option @ the time.
  17. dampen? you mean limit? A little I suppose... If a spacer put under the coil is 2" thick and the vehicle sits 2" higer the coil can still only compress the same amount. now lets say that a coil for 2" lift is used and pretend that the thickness of the winding is the same on new and old (we'll call it .5") the taller coil may have 2 more windings and so when fully compressed those windindings have to be considered. (.5"x2=1")-2"=1" so our theretical taller coil would only be able to compress 1" farther than the coil with spacer. so yes but not severely.
  18. my injectors tick (or click) my oem ones were silent untill the passenger side one started to die(injector leak ecu code and overly rich exhaust smell) then it was really loud. My python injectors click qietly and are almost inaudiable once I'm 1/8 or more on the temp guage. most oil filters have one built in, its the rubber looking suff in the outer holes, orangeish colored on the fram filters.
  19. HERE! http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...mp;#entry340054 I just posted a factory digram w/ pat# for the tire carrier a week ago.
  20. I use 1qt of lucas oil when I do my oil change, since I started doing so my lifter tap completely goes away unill its close to time for the next oil change (about 3000mi maybe a few hundred more) I think the lucas oil reduces the amount of leakdown you get from the lifters and keeps em quiet. EDIT: from redpath88's link "Lifters that bleed down regularly indicate wear or old oil" LOL so mine automatically tell me when to change the oil
  21. $15 fuel filter 15 minutes under the hood. If that don't work come back and somone here will provide other solutions.
  22. x2 Just kidding, its your vehicles you've heard the opions out there but ultimately its your decesion and doing it because it will already apart doesnt seem like a bad idea.
  23. putting a few down and driving is a bad idea x5 a "refreshment" as in 1 may be acceptable but the way I see it do stupid @!*% when I'm sober so.... beware that even if your the only one you could hurt do you really wanna get hurt? and what if its much more than a "scratch"?
  24. untill your on the higway one night and your sick of hearing SSSSSSHHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHHSHSHS-SHSHHSWWOOOOO-SHHWHWHOOO!!! the whole way. edit: my friend from utah told me he knows a handfull of ppl do it there but I can't find anything about it on google. Guess it would be a pioneer project if I decide to do it
