  1. I need the Air temp sensor that can be found I think cente on the radiator support http://npora.ipbhost...hl=compass&st=0
  2. TNZ are you able to get ahold of fenders like that?
  3. I thought all 90 and later nissans had key codes recored by vin. Did nissan lose ALL those records?(or am I just wrong) A talented locksmith can make a key based off the tubmler arrangement of a lock. I think any guardian security shop or other reputable shop should be able to do that. OR you can have a random key cut and have all your locks and IGN keyed to that new key. A new key and fresh tumblers makes a lock harder to pick.
  4. un-bolt the 2 hinges @ the bottom of each seat. get a drill 1/4" IIRC drill off the expanded end of the hinge pin use a hammer and punch to knock the pin all the way out get a bolt & wingnut or use a lynch pin to replace the hinge pin re-install hinges and use wingnuts or lynch pins every time you want to remove the seat bottom. here's what the aproprieate lynch pin should look like. I got mine @ lowes for about 4 bucks each
  5. I too plan to get another 20 years out of this rig.
  6. I can comment on my self?

    How silly!

even more so that I actully did it lol

  7. So I was wondering who holds the title for "Longest Pathy Relationship" Feel free to post even if you are not the longest, this is not exclusive, just fun. multi votes enabled so you can vote for all your pathys.(Slick! Kingman, B, many others lol) Q:Define relationship? A: thats a little fuzzy, didn't have to own it the whole time but it still has to be close to you. Give a short bulrb about your relationsip if you like... As of this december my pathy relationship will be 20 years. My dad bought my pathy new 89 with the intent of handing it down. I grew up with the rig always thought it was awesome and only liked it more when it was finally mine. Dad always had profesionals work on the rig and kept it in tip top stock condidion. I do a vast majority of the work and am still modifying it. my pathy likes to be fussy every time I change something and usually its a totally unrelated problem. For example; after the headders went in, the steering pump failed after the new ignition went in, the injectors failed after the overhead conlsole went in, the t-case blew its seals the list goes on... (I also wanted to try out the poll feature on the new forum, appeantly It can show who voted what so we'll know the self voters in TOTM lol)

    CV AXLE

Maybe install the diff drop kit from 4x4 parts. this will slightly reduce the angles on your CV and thus reduce wear. the kit is 40 bucks but the install is kindof a pain.
  9. maybe don't crank it so high, the factory spec says not to exceed .375". I chose to relax my t-bars to keep the ammount of shims required within that range (or close to it @ least)
  10. I believe AC cuts down the 3" kits to make the 2" kit so you are paying for their labor. they will also sell you a 1"BL for $100 but you have to e-mail them for it.
  11. nice paint but what did you do with the rust? I hope thats not the new owners problem.
  12. B remember when my tranny made that noise? It still does in 5th but making sure my t-case(which blew a seal) was full made it allot quieter.
  13. I got the 300zx turbo studs too but they were only 90 bucks and why... well because I didn't ask here first when I did my thorleys years ago. so this way I knew I had the right size.
  14. vg30 studs are M8x1.0 IIRC. and I think vg33 studs are m10x1 I do know for a FACT that my friends chevy LS1 bolts are the same diameter and pitch(I used a few). I have a few extra and maybe tomorrow if I remember I will count the pitch to be sure.
  15. are there any foam cell shocks sold in america?
  16. yes, the bulbs that come with the clears are not anything special, good spares @ best. get some good bulbs in there and aim the lows properly.
  17. Jegs has endorsed all Redline OILS as an MPG improving product. I don't know how true it is but I have redline mt90 in my t-case and my 5 spd tranny and it feels smooth even in the cold winter. I will be trying their gear oil next when its time to change my diff fluids. and I just use palin dextron III in my PS pump but I'd like to hear what others say about dextron VI for PS
  18. 87 octane is fine for these ol rigs. Premium yeilds no beniftit to these engines as they are not optimized for it.
  19. why not use regular headders and go for a downstream turbo(and a really good skidplate after). there is allot more room under the vehicle than there is under the hood. What am I saying! I don't like turbos, just supercharge it.
  20. I've got thorleys on my 89. Imprvoved fuel economy and a litlle more power are the first things to expect once you put them on. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=22898&hl=
  21. I don't see any problem with that. the cluster is the same shape and has a few same plugs the rest can be figured out w/ little effort.
