Yes....very familiar with liner...have done a few of my other vehicles in the past but hadnt thought about doing it to the pathfinder. Bacon.

I would venture to guess that you can swap the drive trains with minimal issues. There was a post, a complete write up iirc on here but searching via tapatalk is not working and I am away from a usable computer...

Ran into the same issue on my 95. No parts available. Took it apart and cleaned, then re lubed it...no issues now.

Welcome! I would pull the cluster and check the connections on the back, corrosion as well as loose connections can cause intermittent failure and sporadic behavior. Is your tachometer working correctly?

Personally I am a penny pincher and can relate to wanting bolt on parts...However I have found (recently) that the local exhaust shop can replace the entire system from the cat back for not much more than what I paid for my muffler. Just a thought but might check into it...very difficult to repair leaks if you wwld it yourself and are not experienced...not saying you can't handle it, just a thought. For example the muffler I was going to purchase alone was 85 bucks, and the quote from the local place was 125 including replacement "turbo" muffler and complete tailpipe assembly installed. To me it was a no brainer.

Welcome....need to know if it turns over and just wont fire, or if it isnt doing anything at all... I would recommend checking the 10 amp fuse for the gauge cluster...I believe it is called "meter" far right top of fuse panel. I had a wire sgort and lost all gauges, fixed short and had to replace fuse to get it to turn over... Try it.

Welcome! Dude I laughed uncontrollably when I read your first post about your dumpster fire. Awesome stuff. I concur with the previous suggestions regarding the air box, and removing the seats...and corresponding hardware then completely removing the carpet exposing the sheet metal. Scrub it out and pressure wash the carpet sections. Preferably with a heated washer, air dry and reinstall. I had to do the same thing! Anyway....look forward to reading more of your posts. Hilarity is welcome here!

I agree with Dma251. In my own experience running yellow tops, I had mediocre life. The first one I ran lasted for a very long time, and when it finally meant its service life and would no longer charge I replaced it with the same, but was disappointed. It simply died after about 9 months and Optima only carries a 6 month warranty. So I ended up purchasing a Duralast Gold and have had nothing but good results. I guess it boils down to what you need and or want. I have a large winch, and multiple lights, and no issues.

I am working on building one similar for the driver side of my rig for a few items...you have inspired my creative (or destructive!) side...

Great thought process! Years back a few guys and I did an S10 Blazer to a K5 Blazer frame. It was awesome... Then we put an old Ford Aerostar body on a Bronco frame...it was...ugly but turned heads!

They did...it started out as a VG30E then they swapped in the 33. Its a really REALLY well written series of articles.
