  1. :o that's a deal... too bad it was couple of years ago.. will have to keep my out for another to come around. last week sometime i happened to be at advanced auto and they have some good deals on all thier jacks.. i do recall one with pretty big lift but i don't recall if it matched the craftsman.. to me that's one of the main reasons to have a jack, to lift with it.. i hate using blocks and crap... last few years all i have used is 2 pathfinder bottle jacks.. they actually work pretty well but the turing thing get's old.. i rarely use any blocks and if anything i use some boards under the jacks.. one native chunk under the optima! i am not lifted on 31s.
  2. dagwoodzz, very nice. true NPORA spirit at work. thanks.
  3. with what post count does one become a NPORA Veteran?
  4. lol. http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?&act=M...sort_order=desc i've fallen. was like 2nd or 3rd at one time now 6th behind you.. time to revisit the 400 thread. woot!
  5. 1 year and 1000 posts! let's haggle.. this is gonna be good.
  6. nope. page 339! http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...760entry58778
  7. great thought, a bit early however and if the track record on things like this is of any indication it ain't gonna happen. but a nice thought none the less.
  8. on my 89 from the moment the low fuel light went on solid (after all the fading in and out) to empty was at least 60mi. the truck got around 20-21 on the highway. not sure on the 94.. seems less but this sucker is a thirsty one.. i think i have driven maybe 40ish miles before.. the biggest fillups ever were 19.6gal both.
  9. on still, thinking of taking them off at the end of the month possibly.
  10. yeah, coat hanger to either the lock (unlock here ) button or to the hadle or at last to the lock tab itself but those are kind of hard to pull up or even get the wire around it.
  11. you can do any car with a coat hanger.. be patient.. that's all it takes.. also one could call the cops.. they do the slim jim service here for free.
  12. hey, thanks for that write up.. that's the most complete one i have seen on here regarding r50s code reading..
  13. gosh darn right you are fordsho90.. 'nilla it is and we like it.. the thing one has to remember is that mr. jim (the owner) created these with that in mind.. blame him or thank him, it was his baby right here.. look, there has been some decent political discussion here and there.. the main thing is that everyone stay civil.. that's hard to do obviously but that's why we (the mods) are on it and this place is still friendly, family friendly and i think the concensus is that it stay that way.. and we'll definitely try our best to do so.. i'll give you all a little hint though. the poho thread is a little bit more free.. have fun and 'don't draw your guns on your friends'.. wraslin' is ok, guns are not.
  14. check your wiring to the stereo components you just installed. that's most likely your prob since you just messed with it and obviously effected something.. check the battery.. it shoudl be close to 12V when off and somewhere around 13+V when running.. you might have blown your voltage regulator or the famous fusable link.. i bet regulator here.. or something got detached while you messed with your truck.
  15. you really don't have much choice but to work the door pannel out of there.. take your time, it's doable.. then report for sure.. i can't think of anything else.. good luck.
  16. daumn, my 94 looks about like that. hmm?
  17. lol. no i drive real easy most fo the time.. get 270ish miles out of about 19gal..i do not convert to the actual miles. the truck came with the smaller tires and i have 31s on there now.. speedo is off anywhere from 2-3 to closer to 10 at high speeds.. (~80) the best mpgs i get is when i drive between 45-50mph or so.. i tend to roll most of the time, not big on stopping.
  18. it has to be able to get alligned. there are tons of these things out there with this exact same setup man. maybe you're off on something if it's that bad.
  19. i've never gotten 300 out of a tank with my 94. mid 200s is all i get.. 200 if i drive like i am possesed
  20. nothing wrong with bumping it up with new questions.
