  1. he isn't running and the tranny is out.
  2. lol. yeah check the charge on the battery.. otherwise check the ECU sticky in the garage --> how-to for codes procedures.
  3. hahahaha.. congrats to the lady!
  4. just give me all the Ws (why, where..) links will be good too. obviously NPORA is a little bit loose as a club but none the less it's a club and i know, somewhat regional runs do happen.. or at least some get-to-gethers do happen. and obviously we are pathfinder specific place but we are WORLDWIDE!! i've met 2 people from here thusfar. lol another internet based club i belong to is MXO. the name implies Xterras and most are but there are some pathys, hard bodies, and a few odds and ends from outside the family.. it's a regional kind of thing.. midwest ~ wstr. great lakes.. it branched off of XOC. peeps live from MN to KY and MO to OH. most are in WI and Chicagoland.. home park is badlands we do lot's of runs (once a month) although this year has been a tad leaner. gas prices perhaps? the only really organised club i belong to is IFWDA. it's a conglamorate of clubs from around IN and surrounding states. mostly jeepers but lot's of other odds and ends. it's not nissan specific but i am trying to represent, fo sho! check out the site as there is too much going on there to even attempt to type any of it here. i'm one of very few members at large. great group of folks that really care about our little hobby. home park (besides badlands and haspin acres) is RedBird SRA (SRA=STATE!!! Riding Area) and there is progress on another SRA! in the near future. ok, share away! thanks
  5. i really have had no problems with the filter.. it's a little tight but it's not that bad.. i have had way worse, believe you me.
  6. phil lurks here more then one may think.. just call him, i gave you the numbers.. he won't mind i am sure.. lee has a full time job besides L&P so may want to hold off.. they are both on central time.
  7. i agree.. bunch of Xholes if you ask me..
  8. Lee McQuinn 812-236-5403 & Phil Dawkins 217-351-8316
  9. the cupholder for the 5sp was the easiest and one of the best "mods" i have made..
  10. i've had some fords to that to me.. that's why i askedabout the filter.. most of the time i found that to be the culprit... it could also be the pump going.. he didn't mention any stubles at full speed though.
  11. well, it could very well be the clutch but have you checked the fluid in the tranny itself.. check to see if any is even there and then see what condition it's in... clutch could be slipping and burning up and since you said it does that in every gear then it makes me think that it could be an area worth investigating. or we do have a sucker here but i think he wants an auto instead of the 5sp. oh well...
  12. nobody mentioned the door pockets so i will. i really like them.. .. on my s-10 and f-150 they are huge and really too big. they end up callecting a bunch of crap.. on the pathy they seem just right.
  13. i was wondering what you guys thought some of the short coming were on our trucks.. of course the steering comes to mind immediatley but i wonder what else bugs you. i like to have everything on the right.. buttons etc.. the darn power mirror control could have been on the right as well as the window and lock controls.. i think those were on the right on the older models as for some reason i am thinking my 89 had them in the center console.. someone mentioned the little cubby on the left where they kept their cell but that thing is freaking worthless as far as i am concerned.. everything ends up in the floor most of the time..
  14. i'd still run ecu codes and see if you get anything.. fuel filter? injectors? check the other sputtering thread.. some of that stuff may apply here too.
  15. yeah it will. it clears the path much more. i do that periodically too..
  16. yeah but you'll be an expert when you are done and you'll be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor that much more.
  17. and if you must use the PM feature.
  18. huh.. no right of the power mirror control.. halfway between it an the steering wheel. straight above the fuse box.
  19. ther is a big vac hose just behind the master cylinder.. i think that's what he is talking about.
