  1. in just one responce? :o i think it's great and that's why i am here. some of these dudes know their stuff.. almost everyone is super friendly too. thanks and enjoy. 2 everyone.
  2. imho you should do it. the sooner the better. you don't want to keep cooking the oil.
  3. ~1.75 ('94) but i don't remember lbs or Kg.. lol it's on a bluish tag under the hood.. right side.. firewall maybe?
  4. since i can't cast multiple votes i'll also tell you but i voted in regards to the AT i once had since the cooler is really only an issue with autotragics. the AT went kaputt just a tick below 100k. that was on an 89 and it was pretty much a complete rebuilt since the insides fused/welded together when it went. the external cooler was added and then not one hickup at 175k when the truck RIP. the MT on the 94 works just dandy at 113k. can't recall if the previous owners ever replaced the clutch or not but it seems just great. it does get a little warm there in the middle when hard mtn. 4wheeling all day though. may eventually look into a cooler mod for that tranny too.
  5. there was no one simple "search" responce in here. you'd rather i didn't say anything at all? as you wish but i'll give you this one: trannies without the cooler go out at about 100k. with it they seem to keep running.
  6. nothing really new in that field.. the info is just as good as it was before.
  7. the quicker the better on the miles and search for tranny cooler mod around here. lot's of good info.
  8. yeah, sounds like your wires may be touching the metal ceiling. insulate!
  9. i had to do some merging so hopefuly he'll find it and have a looksy.
  10. not sure what pending means.. it could be that he unhooked it too soon. it may be worth your time to go to a different one and have the codes read again. this is definitely a cat area thing especially the way the TSB is reading. seems something 91s are known for. this should be covered irregardless any warranty unless it is unrelated to the TSB. not sure how the MAF could effect the exhaust.. hmm anyway, look for a sticky somewhere in the garage or one of the wd21s areas, yours is basically the same. there were some pics in one of those threads at least. cleaning the MAF is defnitely worthwhile especially since it can be done in 5min.
  11. yeah. might want to oil the new seals before inserting them.
  12. <93 60k mi. 94 and 95 110k mi.. not sure about r50s. lol
  13. you're welcome and enjoy. at least you try.. that's all we ask for. check this thread out for some ideas how to search: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=7202&hl=
  14. you really can't judge the hoses from outside but pliability helps. sounds like you'll get to see them anyway. good luck and keep us posted.
  15. ^^^ yup. lol are the calipers unhooked. you may have badly deteriorated line in there and it's holding the piston stuck. if j/y part i'd prob. just do the one side but try to get two new ones, plus hoses and pads. turning? maybe, depends.

    LSD

    i already did.
  18. yeah check out the one that venge gave you, it's a good one. if you were in this area then you wouldn't have any trouble. plenty of those around here.

    LSD

a little finesse with the brake pedal goes a long way my friend. the only locker widely available is ARB, with the onboard air and such you're really looking at $2k. might as well SAS it. LSD up front is a great idea though. it surely would help. they are somewhat hard to come by and rather on the excesive side of things. there are others that wanna use that puppy in their vehicles.
  20. common on r50s not as much on wd21s but yeah, i sure would check the rear bushings first. could also be tranny or other mounts. you should be able to really notice that with engine running and in D. i know you said 5 spd. that's harder to duplicate.. still yank on the tranny and see if it moves. if it does, you gots problems man.
  21. if there is a bunch of scale builtup in the rad or your heat has been weak then do the citric flush otherwise just h2o will do. of course try to catch all the old coolant and recycle it.

    winch

the higher the better. 8k lbs at the very minimum. 9k or 9.5k you're doing better.
