yeah, check your wiring and your grounding. sounds like a week battery or the connections to it.

you better be damn good otherwise you could kill someone if not yourself.

google 'PA vehicle laws" or some derivative of that. pretty easy to install; if you have factory fogs you could just switch out the wires from the relay to the new lights if you'd be willing to get rid of the fogs. or just wire them all new.. it's not all that hard just follow a simple wiring diagram which i am sure is included with the new lamps.

it sure was a pretty big hassle on my '94 to get to the darn thing.. i still have noise on the very highest setting but at least it's not plugged solid full of mouse house.

i think mine idled around 700rpm which is where it should be.. 500 seems way low to me.

never heard of anyone ever getting lucky with an interference engine.

i've had retreads on a pick up once, never again. they didn't come apart or anything even close but balancing those things.. good luck with that.

near sea level it'll run all day but going high will suck you dry.

tinker with it. could be just a busted needle or a cog clog. maybe, maybe not.
