  1. nope, he's got disks in the back unc. i have not found an alternative to a stealer. why do you need another set? they are very thin from the factory as they are t be used exclusively for parking or an emergency. they were not designed for anything else. and the disc/e-drum combo is sky high too.
  2. ok, cool. i missed your previous post about already seafoaming it. oops
  3. are you sure it's not leaky exhaust manifold???
  4. sine you don't have another maf to try, have you tried mode 5 of your ecu?
  5. watch out: http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?s=&amp...st&p=354617
  6. not necessarily man. the 85-89 had gl in the tc. i switched because i have nothing else with atf in it. gl works great.
  7. i guarantee it that his force was nothing like chuckhole or a curb can exert not to mention centrifugal forces on a 2ton truck at 60mph. yes, i wasn't there, still you ought to be fair to yourselves.
  8. sounds to me like the mech is right. there should be NO movement in the bjs. btw. the crowbar method is standard test for bjs.
  9. ok, i'll call it a hunch too then.. :clears throat:
  10. to change oils doesn't take much knowledge nor thinking. monkey wrench will do.
  11. since mine is stick trans, i switched to gl in the tc long time ago now. it's all good.
  12. yup, i agree, the 150 is way, way too thick. just because you haven't found out the problem just yet, does not mean your junk isn't going to go bad.
  13. why not synth oil in the heart of the vehicle? you seem to want to lube everything else with synthetic, why not the engine?
  14. yeah, i used high temp grease. if you have a parts cleaner (station), that is definitely the best way to clean them out. other ways are harder or more involved but doable. make sure it's clean and dry before you slap some grease back in them.
  15. you have to back up to disnegage.. otherwise you're not disengaged at all. check your OM or the back of your visor for factory instructions.
  16. well, there are kits for the transmission but they aren't pathfinder specific.. there are several threads in here somehwere in here, discussing all the different options etc. pretty darn well. the flickering light is the rear gate latch. there is info here somewhere about that but basically you just have to move the catch forward just a tad.. door locks.. well, could be a few different things too.. look in the garage section; there is stuff on this too.
  17. there is no link to THE KIT.. the is NO KIT.. search around here and you'll find out all you need to know about the tranny cooler.. there are great write ups about them here.
  18. 1st, 4lo. i hardly clutch. if i need to go faster, i'll pop it in 2nd. no clutch.
  19. it's most likely the voltage regulator for the cluster itself.
  20. yeah they are. you could rewire them as per that link.
  21. x3. flat tip screwdriver.
  22. hey red, it's been done by many others without the issues 88 had. not sure why.. maybe they dtilled some vent holes or something. i'm also pretty sure the others i have doing this stuck with the stock bulbs.
