  1. i don't have any small mirrors. darn it. i already took the rad out too so i guess i'll just rip the intake off. thanks guys.
  2. yeah, could be the clutch on the fan. could be a bubble in the system or a clog. next time you're overheating and stuck in traffic, turn your heat on HI on the inside. the heater core is basically a radiator. i've had to do this many times in the past. it's not fun on a 100 degree day though.
  3. yeah, start with the universals of the propeller shaft. then check the rear linkage/panhard and the tranny mounts.
  4. oh yeah, thanks for the disclaimer. i have a wd. or less beer?
  5. ok, i got a leak that i can't even keep up trying to fill the rad. it's somewhere in the back of the motor (vg30E) but above the block. i can see some hoses coming from that direction (both metal and rubber) and the do go to the heater core inside. not sure where the other ends go. any ideas? if any one has a pic of the back of the motor while out of the truck or just did something in that area, i'd surely appreciate your input. i was hoping i don't have to remove the intake but it's freaking tight back there. grrr.. thanks.
  6. you both must be gassing it and the lsd doesn't engage at high rpms. tap a brake and go easy on the skinny. the nissan lsd is is freaking awesome actually.
  7. no idea but no brakes when descending in 4lo. it's geared real low and there is no need to make it slide or whatever. hey, you're on the correct side of the road. maybe that's the problem? lol
  8. that's my thought too. maybe he's pushing the old liquid out still.. it could be a bad MC.

could v3ry well be the switch. keep looking at the manual; the wiring diagrams are good.
  10. half full of water i didn't have an issue with but when the humidity in there was high, i kept blowing bulbs too.
  11. yeah moisture. when i drilled holes in mine (another vehicle) the problem went away.
  12. yeah definitely. leaky vacuum will do that too. CEL on?
  13. it could just be crossed wires. .lift the hood up after dark while the engine is running. if it's a light show... t-belt eh? are you sure you're in time? may want to tweak it by hand just a tad. also watch the backfire thread. could be similar.
  14. wires? loose connection to the maf or other sensors? worn out plugs or rotor/cap; bad injectors, etc. CEL on?
  15. all that you can see and then some.
  16. fair enough.. i'll buy you a brew when/if i see you next time.
  17. i bet the real factory tires were 31 you just didn't know it.. you know the info is on the door jamb, right.
