  1. could be all kinds of things. you need to inspect the brakes first and see what the deal is... you should inspect all of your suspension while you're at it... same on the plugs... pull a couple out and see their condition... look in your OM to see schedule of maintenance and follow it closely...
  2. i can't believe you haven't checked your fluids for mixing yet... that'll answer the question weather you cracked anything or not... you must be leaking somewhere otherwise you wouldn't have the green stuff on the muffler... and no not all vehicles in FL do that...
  3. i wouldn't flush.. it killed another old truck of mine... put in a little bit of synthetic oil if you want the engine to un-gunk but like 88 said all this may make your engine leak oil....
  4. east coast of what??? hehe... i am here on the east bank of the white river... inthenoplace.... midwest.... oh, i do go east enough... maybe we could ride sometime...
  5. coming out of the muffler huh? well, check yout fluids for mixing and then pressurise your cooling system and see if it is leaking somewhere...
  6. yeh, they tend to die around 100k if they don't have that aftermarket kooler installed... but don't be discouraged... the trucks are excellent and last very long time with a little tlc...
  7. #3 junk yard trip and you can replace that part in like 5 minutes... no stealer.. I'd be pissed about that oil leak.. i'd probably make them fix it without a charge... that's their f-up...
  8. with the bearing out it will be loose... when you replace your bearing and tighten everyting then it should not be loose at all...
  9. yeh, lot's of info in the garage... has been beat to death.. getting TDC is probably the easiest part man... but it's not that hard but way more complex then any american car of similar age...
  10. not sure where that is but my guess is yes... maybe you need belt dressing or got crappy belts...
  11. not the O2 but the ones that the ECU through out codes for.. 88 just grimaced about one of them just above... new thormostat may be in order also...
  12. #1 are you actually loosing oil? after major service the truck may smell of burning oil for a while... #2 it could be ball joints, or pitman arm or something... it's definately realted to tires/allignement... should have taken it to Nissan for that. seems no one can do it right outside of them... check for wear... i'd check those and see if it may have been caused by the tire folks.. #3 belts. well, if they retightened them and they squick again soon then your belts are shot my friend.. probably have 105k miles on them... if they are Nissan belts then that's most likely... you can get all of them kellys for about 10-15 bucks.. #4 could be related to either service... it depends on timing...
  13. sounds like a few things to deal with.. get new sensors and tighten up the FI and you should be good...
  14. you got a carb on your truck??? wtf? timing issue is normally associated with backfires...
  15. one could burp it through the radiator cap too...
  16. get the external tranny cooler installed pronto... use search feature and you'll find lot's of info on that subject..
  17. i'd torch'em just a bit at least... pb blaster for a couple of days or weeks might just do it too... so everytime you're back in town spray it and then whenever have a chance it just might loosen right up.. yes to LOL though..
  18. there should be a bleeder screw on the upper hose (on the left when looking at the engine bay from the front)... could be air pockets but most likely the thermo...
  19. NAPA has it (pretty sure) and go to redline's website to see who deals their stuff... and yah, the multi gl# oil isn't ok although the dealers tell me that it's ok... they are in the business of making money though...
  20. why is the truck lowered up front? you can't drive on the beech in Daytona anynore???
  21. Hayen's is has them but look here... http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=2621
  22. this is mainly slider country. most here wheel off road... but good luck.
  23. weak starting is normally a bad battery or it could be something in the starting cicuits/systems.. the whacky gage maybe related to electrical ghosts but check ecu for starters and we'll see....
