  1. That plastic was a part that rested on the brake pedal assembly. So that the switchs would touch it when the brake pedal is released. Turns out I didn't need a switch eventhough I bought one anyways. I just took some metal bolts and put double sided electrical tape through the bolt and placed them in the holes. This is probably why my cruise control hasn't been working. Going to take it for a test drive now.
  2. Yeah, there is a switch near the rear transmission you have to really get awkward to replace that switch.
  3. Just happened today. Looked it up in the book and it might be the stop lamp switch just above the brake pedal that needs replacing. Though I did find a piece of cracked plastic on the foot board which might be the part on the other end or one end of the clevis pin. Any thoughts on this? When I take the wires out of the stop lamp switch the lamps go out. But that plastic sure has me thinking the clevis pin plastic retainer. Only it's a dark blue.
  4. Nope. Mounts not fixed. Don't know how much that would cost me. I looked under the engine and it looked like one mount might be busted, looks kind of cracked inside. You can probably just clean out your PCV valve rather than replace it. They are fairly cheap though. It's definately something you should do.
  5. It's now up for sale in the classified section of this forum. Price is 51 dollars delivered.
  6. It might be the mount. It's not shaking real bad but you would notice that antenna movin. Have to check it tomorrow.
  7. Thermostat change, new spark plugs NGKs and wire set, replaced pcv valve and the hoses which were on their last leg. It doesn't do it anymore.
  8. As everyone probably knows I have the coolant temp. guage problem. I bought this item off ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=7955050089 It looks good and nothing has been done to it and after the other guy gets a chance to buy it I will offer it up for sale Sunday for what I paid for it. The voltage connectors do not fit on my 87. Plus I have found that one of my wires have been pulled from the connector and that there might of been a short between the 8 volt voltage regulator. Just looks like it has some burn or rust marks on the flexible wiring. So there really isn't anything beside bulbs that I could use on this thing and I definately don't need bulbs. On the plus side I got one of the mileage indicators working again. Don't know how I did it but I am glad I don't have to write down the mileage between fill ups anymore.
  9. I like that. The cost of changing a timing belt you can buy a new or fairly new v6 on ebay.
  10. Seems it needs tightening up or mounts or something. My antenna is shaking mildly. Anyone else?
  11. That's cool. So what did you comp tell you?
  12. I just put NGK's in mine. Replaced the autolites. Probably won't get the platinum autollites again.
  13. I haven't checked but last time I did I was getting injector leak, 23 and 12 or 13 or something like that.
