  1. Adam generally is most commonly meant towards adamzan (read the name slowly, then you will see the connection usernames can blend sometimes) Phone GPS's are nice for what they are but still quirky and will not replace a true GPS. Like using a slice of bread instead of a hotdog bun, just not the same thing and you know it
  2. only effect i've ever seen Seafoam do is thin the oil out real quick and make a fun little smoke show when doing it through the vacuum line on the booster. I've never had any performance gains from it and personally consider it nothing but snake oil
  3. Suprise, PA inspection sti kers that are falling off! Looks good though
  4. Easier access to throw it in with no top! We can add one of those stair chairs on the side so you can get in it
  5. No ways! Leave it 2 door and hack the top off the back!
  6. My weekend on call. Enjoy the Falls though (I'll be putting the 4runner the rest the way together and maby getting a little time in on my truck)
  7. Only now? Thought that would be priority 1 after your "incident"
  8. Never underestimate the power of people who think their mechanics!
  9. Firstly: alabama_lowlife, welcome to our little corner of the interwebs reflector collectors may not be our initial cup of coffee round here but thats not to say we dont share tricks between each other (and of course we make little jabs here and there on them as I'm sure you would as well towards us in the same fun 'different so its funny' manner). As you pointed though about a generalization against your site by 1 user here, I must ask you please not judge NPORA by 1 users comment. Ignorance of one does not = the census of many And secondy to you (a seconded feeling as well) thats a pretty cool offer to want to purchase even without the need just to get things going Dowser, you sending a tweeter style or non? If non I should have a spare or 2 somewhere (I'd have to search some through my crap/see if theres one on ToolShed) that might be a cheaper shipping cost from US instead of out of Canada
  10. thanks for not whoring up the voting thread! Still trying to plan a good kill date for voting
  11. unfortunately (as usual) you forget this is a forum filled with people in the automotive field and not the words of some neighbors friends uncle who gives out lines of why he pays over sticker for a plain common pickup he claims is rare by having the most common engine in its production line or some forum where re-grounding a vehicle by tracing the stock grounds and leaving them as well due to lack of confidence it's done right is considered one of the top tech articles. You only quoted part of Slartibartfast's post, try reading the whole thing and you won't need an explanation and actually see where you were corrected. If you need simple phrases like Adamzan's higher spring rate post explained... you need to stop posting in tech and suspension related threads and research. It's pretty blunt (which doubles for quoting Simon needing an explination for what a simple observation would clear up) Again... actually reading Simons description of a snorkels benefits (which you seem to blindly not understand) No wonder you bad talk other forums... they must all call you out on not knowing what you spew out... Now please, as I'm tired of suggesting to you RESEARCH before posting (I feel like a broken record)
  12. 1992 is body on frame... all wd21s are (87-95, onward in some countries) r50s are the unibody children, and technically a SFD (sub frame drop) 'could' be considered a bodylift depending on how you look at it.
  13. x2 on searching Iron Locust and the awsomeness he puts up unlimited funds? Id have a ship full of sweet sweet RHD diesel goodness with my name on it...
  14. CV shafts themselves are interchanganle side to side,as Kingman stated the axle tubes are different lengths. Sometimes parts stores will list things like that to cover ther own backsides/could be different grade parts/ possibly looked up different years to get different part numbers (to account for different spline counts)?
  15. eBay usually has plastic replacements sets, but there is always junkyard scavenging and part outs (for sale section here, craigslist, etc) to find an inexpensive pre-owned. As MY1PATH said the HardBody D21 front end swap offers more upgrade choices as well What it's worth I'm sure there's quite a few trucks around here with tiny holes in their headlights and they work fine as well.
  16. I got a 15x10 set of them as well I use as winter wheels, as Kingman said, just old American Racing Wagon Wheels, the Cragar Soft 8 of the past. Every wheel company made them and all used the same exact design and were dirt cheap.
  17. i've never had to replace any door seals on any of my vehicles, I'd rather have nice smelling door jams with non-freezing doors than 'non-oil deteroiating' rubber seals that freeze to the metal and get cracked/torn. I've used Pam on many a door for many a years
  18. a rare trait on an internet forum, kudos Kyle Since my truck was frozen shut this morning, I Pam-ed all my door jam rubbers
  19. No, that just general knowledge, why you will see his logos on trucks around here hand over fist compared 4x4parts. plus the proprieter of rugged rocks is an active member here who is more than just a warehouse of parts, he is one of the people who develops new products to benefit the Nissan 4x4 community. To the OP, I did see you found one of the write-ups, between that and the instructions that come with the kit you should pretty well set when you take the dive to do it
  20. Don't wait too long, don't wanna ruin a set of rotors over a simple set of pads!
  21. Interest and money are 2 different things
