  1. All my previous HBs were ka powered and while yes they could spin 31s when you dumped the clutch my 3.0 in my 88 is obviously a stronger motor, if anything noticable in what gears I can get up hills with compared to what before. Not goeing to win any street races with it(well against people who know how to drive at least-as fiew and far between that seems to be) you should still be able to kick the back half loose if you want to, so as stated how many times before, check into a good tune-up, and throw a fuel filter into the mix while your at it.
  2. I got a spot for one in mt gauges, just never saw it lit..
  3. I ran my 88 clean out to the point I had to drift off the road once, didn't get a gas light.... Wonder if the bulb is good
  4. We've already come to that conclusion about me....... edit: found a picture
  5. IIRC they are the same 93-95 and I see more painted ones areound here than chrome so I don't forsee a big problem hunting one down. As stated check the forums for someone parting out or went aftermarket and don't need a stock one anymore
  6. SEE, I'M NOT THE ONLY BRAVE ONE TO OWN A PINTO!!! If I find a pic of #1 before I killed em I'll put it up.
  7. The highway sign thread made me actually start to pay atention, I go by this sign everyday and couldn't tell you how long it's been like this....
  8. Once someone is reliable i'm sure they will have a fiew sales on here
  9. I'm liking it, definatly rbight at first being used to the old on, already adjusted though

    WOOT!

Not exactly a fan of the NFL period, I just know how to spell it constantily seeing it on a daily basis, living in Pittsburgh. What dumbfounds me is the crap that went on around here and the Steelers won....smashed windows, destroyed parked cars, couches lit on fire in the street, heck a coupel steps away from riots in places.......don't see Nascar fans doeing that....
  11. Depends on the truck, some had 235s some had 31s. I'm running 31's with tweaked t-bars and haven't had a problem other than a light rub on the right fender when turned and tucked a little on aftermarket 15x8 wheels, but my right fender has a slight kink to it in the front.

Could have at least spell it right there Kittamaru...
  14. Options like that are good for me, people trust it and it decides not to work once....I get to make a couple bucks on dragging whats left of it off the side of the road.
  15. Get some matched sized tires on there, thats not exactly good for axles and whatnot. Other than that, welcome
  16. Personal suggestion is since you already got the tranny out, put a new clutch in, but not everyone has money to spend on what they don't nesecarrly need. When my trans started giving me issues in my old HB it all started with 4th gear so it could be signs of internal issues. As for clutch adjustment, you have a little bit of adjustment at the pedal by pulling the pin for the clutch master cyl. and spinning the connector one way or the other on the threads. Other than that and a good bleed, there really isn't much else to adjust, it being a hydraulic setup.
  17. Got to agree with B, either the pictures lie or you were running 1 axle with no tread it seams
  18. 1. photobucket is your frined 2. Depending on the situation $700 bill from the wrecker company is justifiable (yo uknow what it costs to insure them? let alone buy, correctly register-not just slap a pickup plate on it,fuel, maintain, pay someone who actually correctly and saftly knows how to run and operate one?) 3. good you got out unscaithed
  19. Change the letters around on the back so it sais rectel instead of tercel.....sure it's spelt wrong but it's funny as ever to the people who are observent enough to catch it

So your name is Jenny? I'd flip over someone writing on my windows.
  22. Work keeps me generally ocupied, driving wrecker and having a local police contract can sometimes keep things interesting, also do mechanical there. Otherwise if it don't involve my truck, messing with some family members classic, or my crappy-sinking into the ground-pos eclipse(or anything that involves working on some form of real car in some way), I'm either on here, video games, model building, and some other stuff I don't feel liek trying to remember at 10:15 pm.
  23. If they are useful to you at all, the link in my sig is to my members trucks thread. Help yourself to use of any of them. Mine's nothing special but it's a resort for ya if needed.
  24. That be correct, no real way to mount them in a useful spot on a 4 door
