Turn the key to the run position, don't crank it. Security light shoud flash. Let it sit that way for 10 minutes, turn it off and try to start it. Soemtimes it takes more than one try.

Nothing, just there was a 60something chevelle wagon running around here that someone painted that color, only with a flattening agent in it, killed the car in my opinion and gave me a different outlook on that shade of blue. Castrol high mileage - 15w40 IIRC plus a quart of Lucas, on the final fiew thousand miles on my D-21 I ran more Lucas than oil, bottom end knock. Gave for a hard start but took care of the knock....

My 88 has 4wd and I think it is a SE. The shoes can be adjusted, as can the cable. If you want a lazy way out take the nut off the cable adjustment and space it out more with an old junk socket( no I didn't do it to mine, seen it done on a fiew different cars though and did work).

Had a Similar problem once with my 91 D-21 HB, had no marker lights at all, turns out it was my fault to begin with. Being the moron I am, I had the plate frenched into the tailgate and when I wired the plate light I didn't pay atention to which side was ground/hot. Had it wired backwards, suprisingly didn't pop a fuse or fry a single bulb. Reversed the wires and never had a problem again for the rest of the trucks life(with the lights that is).

Good stuff, just hope the guy replys to me. Imm issues are not my concern, the dorky tube thing that goes to the cat was cut and plugged at some point before me and I don't even think my o2 sensor is plugged into anything. As long as there is no clearance issues (and as I said, he replys) I will be able to call my exhaust done, finally.

They are Pacesetters, and if fabbing a little bit for emissions b/s is the only difference, I am not worried, especially for the price they are.

a pack of smokes(king size in a box) is the perfect length to wedge between the lever and the dash if by yourself-and a smoker. wedge the handle give the hood a good tap or yank and lube the crap out of the latch. just don't forget to unwedge the handle or you will get verry frustrated slamming the hood over and over from it not latching shut again.

Did my eclipse that way as a temproary thing to mask the fact it was red/dark blue/teal/grey primer. That was a couple years ago and its still that way, although verry fadded. My friend who does all my bodywork is still mad about that, sais I just made more work for him, makes wasking easy though-DON'T!

I am not 100% on that, I know thats about the time for model year changes, 10th diget of the v.i.n. is the year, n=1992 p=1993 i belive.

pre 7/92 would be titled and have a v.i.n. for a 1992 and post would be a 1993 if I remember correctly. It's right around that time the model year changes.

Always good to have a backup/donor/mobile storage shed(which my spare is). Bringing the tach a little higher than necesary can be fun at times, good for known alarms for me at least. More fun in my Eclipse though, people hate being out-driven by that ugly little clunker. Clean Z as well.

Did em in my 91 Hardbody once, PITA rigging the door as said, my 93 Hardbody had the same issue, was able to adjust the hinges to make it work fine. 10mm wrench and a freind, was much easier.
