I'd wait for a couple other chime ins... my issue was kinda self caused...
-
I actully ended up taking my Optima out, but I had a drain that ended up for some odd reason dissapearign when I replaced the rear window release switch. Had to disconnect EVERYTHING and plug stuff in on ething at a time and wait overnight to see if I was goeing to start or catch it in gear. Of course my drain came after a dash swap so who knerw what all was good in that one to start with. I hate electrical...

Used channellocks and a rag to get mine loose, as stated turn counter-clockwise and don't be afraid of force, yours has proably not moved in 15 years...
-
Mines a volume knob turned clockwise...don't hear a thing!

I say it "rocket surgeon" on porpose because it agrivates peopel to not say one or the other Personally don't know the part #'s but yea, you definatly need some longer shocks if your totally stretched parked on the normal. Ride should get a little better afterwards as well, heck you don't even know if your getting the full lift or not out of your coils yet!

Looks kinda close to matching the dash pad, could do the trim piece between the gauges and dash to make it look like one uniform piece too . Turned out good though.
-
Corners- trim will not line up with the grill unless you do the HB grill swap. Will still bolt up, just not look right Bumper lights-will fit, no issues but they don't seal for crap and fog/fill with water (not trying to shy you away, just a warning. I have them as well) Taillights-only if you cut the back of a HB bed off and graft it into the wd21 quarterpanels. otherwise, well no they don't fit. they are taller and not as deep.

No experience? Steer clear until you get yourself some practice then...mess around with a box for a refridgerator or somethign you can care less about to get a GOOD idea what to do, not just...meh, it will work attitude. Spray bomb can turn out good as said IF done right and preped properly. There is an old adage about opinions and a certian orfice on the body that has something to do with everyone having one and all in all it's what YOU want. Personally I say go for whatever you like AFTER learning how to do it.

I think I remember people mounting 33's on lego's (only 7" wide, right?) I don't forsee any issues other than a little of the sidewall bulge look.

Fuel line seeping somewhere possibly? Where is the smell the strongest?

I was briefly a ricer and I was too cheap to buy colored bulbs. I had lots of different color model spray paints so I would have blue reverse lights for a couple days, then red, then purple(heck it's how I made my solid red taillights I have now-well not installed right now). Had endles supplies of clear bulbs. Realized I was goeing too far when I painted a pair of bulbs for front turn signals orange...duh.
-
Testors Model spray paint in light coats over the bulb
-
You just answered your own question Did that with my old HB, they had the blue rubber 'cover'. Replaced them all with normal 194 bulbs since I was too lazy to peal them off the bulbs. My clino had them too when it first arrived. Could bairy see it at night before switching them out.

Just do a write up because I think a fiew people would be building them as well then...

Got a 01 Impala with 230k that runs like a top at work, thing is in great shape, on the other hand just today had a 95 Explorer that hasn't seen a winter in years with 40k(sits in a garage when not being used, which is often) rotted to the point the leafs are about to fall out of the back ,the rad is basicly held in place by the hoses and the side skirts are hanging on by hopes and dreams. All I use mileage for is maintnance records honestly.

Double check all connections are clean and tight. Still personally leaning towards starter though

No offence to you, your family, and the yard you all run was meant man. On my side of the state they are generally theives. I can understand making a buck but you don't have to make 4x what you paid fo rthe car off of 1 commen part.
-
You don't need the one in the middle, thats what bumpers are for...
-
Warning chirpers on the pads bent into the rotors? Pads just plain worn down? Cheap semi-metallic pads with a big chunk of metalic in them? Pads have heat/stress cracks through them? Just throwing them out there as ideas.
-
All the yards around here have to pay per CFC car to got the 'honer' of partign them out some. It's like $200 per car or soemthign though and they make their money 10x over since they are generally theifts-yet still cry they are losing money over them. I hear alot of Explorers have been taken off the road though... And Kingman...throw a couple good tires in the junk bin and take em home with ya...

What brand tune up parts?
-
Imagine the headache when the weight of the hatch AND a pair of subs give in to gravity...
-
nobody gonna diasgree there...
-
If the different pedal pads bother you just get a set of those aftermarket ones that come loose all the time or cut up some diamond plate or something? BTW did you find a cap for your clutch master yet? Depending on which style it is I may have one(I know of 2 different ones at least- 1 threaded and one 1/4ish turn style)

You just don't have a sence of adventure B... The red interior ain't THAT bad, of course I've stared at a red dashboard for plenty of years before having my Pathfinder and looked at the blue one in mine for a while before finishing the grey swap...
