  1. most hella products include relays. Well all the fog light kits do. if it comes with any sort of wiring there's most likely a relay in there. Just dont buy those crappy "h.i.d.-like" bulbs, they are too damn bright for other drivers and they don't have the "cut off line" so the light stays shining on the ground rather than diffusing up into oncoming traffic eyelevel.
  2. No, this is completely normal. It does this because the wheels are trying to spin at the same speed but the inside tires will spin a bit slower than the outside ones. It's not adviseable to do this when the car is on dry pavement as it causes unessecarry wear and tear on the gears. I'm sure somebody else here can give you a deeper explanation, but i've always been told to try to avoid sharp turns (fully locked steering wheel) when in 4wd. It's even worse when you're in 4w lo (which should only be used on slippery surfaces, steep inclines and maximum traction for pulling out jeeps/dodge dakotas from the muck).
  3. how cold is cold? If it's freezing (minus 20 celcius) You might wanna try some gasline antifreeze.
  4. i didn't even think that thing would go 70. I don't know why they didn't throw a dummy into it just for @!*%s-n-giggles. They could have called the mythbusters. I agree with most people though, I don't think you'd be walking away from that one. Maybe on peg-legs.
  5. mine came with heated seats and mirrors, sunroof, adjustable shocks, LSD, leather, chrome accents, external tire carrier, leather-wrapped wheel, cruise, 31" tires, brush guard and step bars, a/c, roof racks, power everthing, but seats (not even sure if these were available) pretty much everything except fogs It's a 1995 SE
  6. you should read this too: spare tire carrier thread
  7. I have one for sale. It came from a 1999, but I don't think it makes a difference. You should fill in your location under your profile so I know how far away you live for shipping purposes,
  8. I've never put anything in my car besides alpine. I got my head unit (model #7894) on ebay for $200 usd. It was 6 months old when I bought it and I havent had a problem with it for a year now. It 60w x 4 so i don't even really need a amp unless you have a sub woofer. You can put some sore of capacitor thingy between your tweeters and front speakers so they don't get a low to mid range frequency -only highs.
  9. i'm with k9. spare on the roof makes much more sense and takes less work
  10. Jahmamza (mom) has a 2002 Older brother has a 1995 I have a 1995
  11. Guyyyy that's so large guy. congratulations on bringing your truck one step closer to being J-Spec guyyyy. Keep saving up so you can buy the coveted JDM Terrono RHD front clip, then you can go thru the Timmy's drive thru in reverse to show off to all the b-rods and haterz in the parking lot.
  12. why not get headers for an 89? Because judging by this page, which was painstakingly scanned by 88pathoffroad, says they are different part numbers. I can't tell you the exact difference, but I assume they are not the same. Why bother with fabbing when you can buy what fits. This place was good when I bought my set: Rocky Road I got my thorley headers for 329 bucks. If they don't have them in stock, call the factory because they aren't a popular product to keep stocked all the time. The factory will usually have them stocked so just ask the retailer to do a drop shipment to your place from the factory. That's what I did. There are other places to buy them, and there is also pacesetter brand headers availible for your engine. Do a search as it's a popular topic around here.
  13. ahahahahhaahahhah try a set of headers and a hi-flow cat if it doesn't go fast enough for you, at least it will sound like it does
  14. As I recall, WD21's don't fare too well in the offset crash test either. I can't remember the exact score, but I know it wasn't good :o
  15. no, I have an auto. I can take some photos when (if i'm ever) done installing them. Either that or you can see them at one of those soxc coffee meets i've been meaning to get to
  16. Yeah, that's pretty much the same story with mine. I think the big difference between the auto and manual was the fit of the crossover pipe. They say it hangs a little low (lower than the crossmember?) when it's installed on an auto . I remember seeing one member's photo of them installed on an auto, but I cant recall who the owner was. My exhuast sounds just like yours. A rotten, swiss-cheese, rust-encrusted mess that hisses like a pack of snakes in the morning. I was debating to get just some plain replacements for the Y-pipe, but since the manifolds were leaking, I decided to get these and forget about the emissions testing. If they are CARB legal, they should pass here in onterrible. If not, then that gives me an excuse to spend $200 on a high-flow cat next summer
  17. I'm just gonna give them a call today and see what's up.
  18. This is what I was talking about: Notice how the ports aren't flush with the flange?
  19. the picture in my signature with the boat on the back is what my truck looked like before I installed the lift. It made a pretty big difference because my rear coils and front torsion bars were pretty saggy. Eventually i'm going to need some heavier torsion bars. The front wheel is turned a little bit in the side-view picture I posted, that's why they look like they are pulled back a little. I have absolutely no rubbing with my current setup. Well maybe a little bit in the rear when the tire is tucked but nothing major. I used the Automotive Customizers upper control arms, some low-profile upper and lower bumpstops, new balljoints and some tie-rod ends, Calmini rear coils with urethane coils isolators. I couldn't afford new shocks. I'm currently using the stock adjustable ones.
  20. I just received mine yesterday, and when I looked at the flanges which bolt up to the block, I noticed they are not even close to being flush. It looks like they never got around to grinding down the welds where the pipes meet the flanges. It's hard to explain without pictures (i should have some tomorrow) but I've never seen a header like this before. I thought they should all be quite smooth and flush with the flange  Does anyone have any pics of the engine side of them they could post for me to compare to my own? Besides that, they arrived with all the associated parts intact, and there was one minor dent where the crossover pipe meets the collectors which I will also post for your viewing pleasure. If the flanges aren't supposed to be smooth like most other headers, I'd be pretty ticked off with the quality of this product.
