  1. lol. funny way to end the story. so i've been driving my dad's car for not even a week now and i've already had two drivers try to hit me/run me off the road. i already miss driving my Pathy. lol.
  2. nah, it's not that easy. you'll need this bracket kit https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=2867 you can either buy that or steal it off a pathy at a junk yard. however it's very hard to remove those brackets. it'll take a lot of work and cutting. no, you can't go without it. if you just drill holes and stick bolts through the body, the weight of the carrier and the tire will rip off the sheet metal on the hinges. idk how much work it'll be since the bracket kit doesn't come with any instructions (i just bought it and have to install the spare tire carrier myself) but i'll let you guys know when i figure this out and get it done.
  3. control arms. i actually recommend SuperLift upper control arms. they might be harder to find though. and i have Pro Comp ES9000 shocks on all 4 corners. lemme know of any other questions you might have. what year is your pathy, by the way?

  4. whaddup, man? thanks for the comment. yeah, rolling sucked, but it's back on the road now so it's all good. i got the pieces for the suspension lift separately. rear coils are the front coils from a '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ). they give u 3" lift in the rear. then i have Sway Away Torsion bars (from ruggedrocksoffroad.com) up front with Automotive Customizers (4x4parts.com) upper

  5. does anyone have the template for mounting the carrier? AC doesn't have it and neither does the dealership.
  6. alright, so i guess i'm not wheeling slickrock, deer valley or strawberry this weekend. i'll probably go to prairie city on sunday with some other nissan ppl tho. they sent out an open invitation on Rugged Rocks, so i'm sending out an open invitation on here. lol.
  7. i can like any of those days. lol. if we don't end up wheelin on the 17-19th in Chico, i know some guys that are gonna be runnin through Slick Rock, Deer Valley then Strawberry on those days. The club that's going is a division of Cal 4 Wheel called Nor Cal Four Wheelers. if we don't wheel in Chico, i'll probably roll through those areas. the only problem is that NC4W is one of those political type 4 wheelin clubs. as in you have to be a member, or interested in becoming a member, in order to go on group outings. i'll sign up for the club just so that no one complains. another problem is that C4W club dues are $45 for the year then NC4W club dues are $36 for the year. just wanted to let you guys know about that. like i said, if we don't wheel in Chico, i'll probably go through those trails in the eldo nat'l forest.
  8. i'm down for anything that won't mess my pathy up. lol. i still need to get my sliders installed. and i've never been wheeling up there either.
  9. thanks for the advice. that sounds like a good idea. i like bolt-ons for the purpose of detachability especially since *in the long run* i wanna get rid of my body lift and swap the front. but as of now i'm trying to get good at wheeling w/ IFS before i swap it. and i like my 33s (which require me to use a body lift) i don't know though. we'll see how "professionally" i do this. i think a friend of a friend is gonna weld these on for me for free, so we'll see what i can get out of him. lol. yeah, i didn't see them either like i said i was told they were either marlins or TGs. either way, i don't really care. hahaha.
  10. check out these sliders i got! my friend bought those sliders and a rear bumper that came off a '94 4runner, but the sliders are too short for his truck so i bought them off him for $100!!! I was told they're either Marlin Crawlers or Trail Gears. they're just the right length at 65" i looked it up and apparently the 4runner has the same wheelbase as the pathfinder @ 104" so that worked out well. i also like the kickouts on them too. they'll make a nice step to get to my roof rack. lol. let me know what ya think! also, i'll take any pointers on placement of the sliders since i have a body lift and all and am not sure exactly where to mount them.
  11. i dooo. not yet tho. other stuff on my list first.
  12. there's myself, slick, joebob, msavides, yoszi, enjoi408, sc88pathy, yar1, and probably many others. i've wheeled with most of the ppl i just mentioned. there could be more out there.
  13. not really. there's a decent amount of Nor Cal ppl here. i'm either going to that clean up or some other event that same weekend.
  14. KSE is one of my faves. i'm gonna see them at the mayhem festival in about a month. along with my top favorite band TBDM and another favorite ATR. AILD is another fave. i see you were listening to them earlier. plus a whole bunch more. i think they're harder-core than the other bands you listed right now i'm listening to Tiesto - Traffic
  15. yeah, that's the one i'm talking about. except i prolly won't go on the one on the 27th. lol. and Steevo wants to wheel in Chico on the 18-19th. bahhh! i think instead of goin to the Con clean up on the 27th i'm gonna go to this two day techno concert in LA. just to let those of you who like techno (JoeBob) know
  16. hahaha, i just replied to this on Rugged Rocks, but i'll post it again for NPORA to see. i'm not from there, but i'm only an hour and a half away, so i'm down to wheel there.
  17. what's goin on then? i think i'm goin with a work group to the 'Con to clean that ish up on those dates.
  18. (I Used to Make Out With) Medusa - Bring Me the Horizon
  19. welcome to the board! i'm from the sac-town area myself. let us know when you wanna wheel! we haven't gone in a while, so we're due for a trip.
  20. Devil's Advocate (Heaven and Hell) - DJ Shadow
  21. i get around 200 miles per tank. which averages out to 12 mpg. i get around 15 on the highway. all these numbers are horrible, i know. factors: vg30I 33's w/ 4.65 (stock gears) mostly city driving. 2.5 miles to work. 6 miles to school. so the engine usually isn't even fully warmed up by the time i reach my destination. i know every gas-saving trick in the book and use them all. 87 grade octane. and that's about it.
