  1. OH man, i know the topic is no longer pitman arm.... but when lifting my buddys Jeep with him this summer we broke 3 pitman arm pullers. Those things are ridiculous to get off. for help if anybody later is in the same boat, we took a long chisel, and hammered it in between the pitman arm, and the steel above it, which helped to wedge it. Liquid wrench, and a hammer on the bottom of the puller is what eventually got it to work. Fun stuff. haha
  2. So after replacing my CVs, i've come to realize my 4x4 doesn't engage. great, i got my new pathy, and need to sell my old one, but it's only a 2 wheel drive now! no good... Anyway, it goes into gear, so i have a low geared two wheel drive pathy, but i need it fixed soon, so i can get it posted on craigslist! Does anybody have any pictures of the inside of their auto hubs, or an exploded view from nissan or haynes or??? i can't find anything, and search lead me nowhere I don't wanna dig into the greasy bearings and hubs right now, without somewhat of a map, cuz i already did it wrong once! thanks guys -Zepp
  3. haha yes sir! i was so stoked there was a square dash in one this nice. I was plannin on installin the clino when we did the lift, but time was tight, and i'm super busy right now! it'll be in there sooner than later. I knew a new pathy was comin soon, so i never installed it in the other pathy, but it'll soon be in this one!
  4. how much you want for it shipped to 80226? (CO) im pretty sure i need the whole thing... not that big of a deal though, i'm not too worried. -Zepp
  5. lol yeah, i know about the classifieds B... i'm just lazy i was checkin it out, and i need the whole light setup i believe? the inside of the light is full of water, so the seal was obviously broken somehow, which makes the light unfixable, right? i haven't really checked it out yet... i'm gonna look at it today after work, and see if i need anything else as well. thanks! -Zepp
  6. Oh yeah, and the passenger side headlight is out! if anybody has one they can spare, i'd love to paypal you money RIGHT NOW to have you mail it to me... they are wanting 50 bucks shipped for them on ebay... what a ripoff.
  7. finally got the other pictures... here they are: Very before picture in between lifting/unlifting
  8. That's true nunya... maybe i will toss it back up there i'm gonna definitely start missing my lights! those are fun. haha and if somebody really wants it feel free! the manifold is awfully loud, but it's got ALOT of new stuff.. new radiator, timing belt, starter, water pump, tie rod ends distributor uhhhh... i know theres more i just can't think right now. haha. it used to have some nice Rough Country UCA's and a couple nice sets of rough country, and rancho shocks , but those are on my new one now.
  9. Thanks Adam!!! and i don't think that pathy would make it up there. i mean... it's never died on me, but i've never driven it halfway across a continent either. haha. and thanks B! i totally agree, and i'm very happy with the color, and pathfinders in general. can't wait to do more to it, and take it wheelin!
  10. thanks!!! it is in amazing shape, and i love the standard tranny- i'm still thinkin on the safari rack... i love it, but i kinda want somethin different this time. I'm thinkin a heavy duty rear tire carrier instead. not too sure though!
  11. It is a manual!, the clutch is nearly bran new, and the interior is immaculate other than some small cracks on the dash. I ran into some issues on the passenger side when crankin the t-bars... but that's another story. anyway, here are the after pics, i'm waitin on my friend who is sendin me the before pics from his iphone. Didn't crank the torsion bars yet here and after they're cranked- i have a picture that i'll edit in later tonight showing the pathy before i'd done anything to it Before Mr. Jim sticker donation i have yet to get rid of the old small spare, i have plans to get a rear tire carrier soon for my full size MT spare Inside, i haven't cleaned it or put my heavy duty rubber floormats in yet, but it is in great shape And the old retired pathy... i need to uncrank the torsion bars on that old guy, then not sure what i'm gonna do with it!
  12. Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow or tuesday! i got the new pathy, swapped the lift off the old one as well as replacing the ball joints on the new one, and delifted the old one, all in 6 hours! The only problem was getting the old ball joints off... those things suck! so far i love the new pathy, it is in amazing condition, and i can't wait to get pictures up for you all to see! The next plans... once funds arrive, is a rear tire carrier, and a new exhaust system!
  13. welp. plannin on sellin it.... or givin it to the sister. not too sure yet. you wanna come down from CANADIA and get 'er from me zan man
  14. Alright guys, i appreciate all of the input in this! and after some hard searching, i have found my new pathfinder. It is not exactly what i wanted, but i have big plans, and it is a great looking and running truck, that will be even nicer once i'm finished with it Okay, so here goes- 2000 bucks, and I test drove it today, it's a 92 with 196,000 miles on it. The interior is immaculate, as well as the exterior. Brand new clutch, paint job, and windshield. It's the champagne finish without a roof rack, or rear tire carrier, which i'm a little bummed about, but i'll easily make due. I have Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday all off so i will be transferring over my lift, and possibly roof rack/safari rack. I'm way excited to upgrade to this truck. I'll upload new pictures of it once it's parked in front of my house, all the way, til it's lifted, and modded to what my old one is currently at,. and unccpathfinder... i treated mine the same. haha, i not only treated it like a stock car, but as if curbs, rocks, and anything in my way... wasn't there... i've jumped it multiple times, and i've paid the price haha. I'm not gonna do the same to this one though. i got my "practice car" out of the way. lol -zepp i'll be updating alot in the next couple of days
  15. I too am in the Denver Area- Lakewood to be exact.
  16. Thanks guys!! thats exactly what i was thinking. I love my 2 door, but it's pushin 200k which i know isn't bad, it still runs like a champ, and i've invested alot in it, but being my first car, and first 4x4 for that, i have destroyed alot on it. The interior isn't in great shape either, i keep it clean, but there are so many little things i just don't want to worry about fixing (Horribly stained carpet, cracked dash, non working instrument cluster, no AC, locks don't work on ANY of the doors, my windshield recently got annihilated, when replacing my CV joint/axles i did something wrong and the 4x4 no longer works)... and that's not even the half of it. Plus i still haven't gotten around to fixin my tick tick manifold that is incredibly loud, so i'd rather just find one in awesome condition and go with it! Being my first truck, and for 800 bucks, i can't complain, i've learned so much with it, and theres a reason i'm going for another pathy! What i've seen are 94s, and 95s around 110 to 150k in good shape from 2500-4000. I have about 2 grand saved right now, so once i find one where the price is right, and i like what i see, i'll jump on it! thanks for the advice guys! -Zep
  17. Hey everybody, i've been gone for a little while- hope all is well for everybody. I've been savin my $$$ for a little while, and i'm lookin to get a new pathy. I was thinkin about gettin a Tacoma for a bit, but then i thought about how much i'd miss my pathfinder! I currently have my 87, and i'm lookin to get a newer one, most likely a 95. Just wondering if there is anything i need to look out for, other than the frame rust, or if i should consider a different year than the 95? I wanna stick with the WD21, cuz i know quite a bit about them, and working on mine isn't much of a problem. I'll update with info as it comes to me!
  18. I'm going for a 3" lift, i don't see a reason to go for a two? why would people do that, it seems like more work for less results? So basically just go for the cheapest then, considering they are all basically the same. the one 88 used from trailmaster is only 107, so i think i'll just go for that one. cheap is good lol and i should probably dedicate a weekend to this? i always run into all kinds of problems, so i'm sure i'll give myself a third day, just to be safe. plus, an extra set of hands will be nice... Just finished lifting my friends wrangler 6" and i did most of the work, so i'd say he owes me anyway.
  19. So i'm looking to get a body lift on the pathy, i have my 3" jgc lift, and am ready to fit some 33"s. I've found many how-to's and problem threads, however nobody has given a strong recommendation on which body lift to use. Price isn't a huge factor, they seem to range from 107.00 to around 130.00. and i'm not lookin to save money, especially since the kits don't vary in price much, or if a kit is going to be missing any brackets. 88, did his writeup on the trailmaster kit, so as of now that is what i'm planning on buying. any pros or cons on that lift? or any others? will i NEED to get a radiator dropdown kit as well? Thanks -ZEpp
  20. very nice!!!! i can't stand littering... especially smokers who carelessly put their butts everywhere.
  21. heres a link to a YOUTUBE vid of my pathy.... my tick is the manifold. plus, its just a fun vid
