Ohh yeah, forgot about that. Sometimes with blown head gaskets you will get oil migrating into your coolant, so also look for an oily sheen and discoloration in the coolant.
-
If the head gasket is blown, just replace the gasket. It's a pretty involved job, but not too hard.

You can't visually, it is an internal leak. Do a leak down test to check.

Planning WD21 Drum to Disc Conversion

Not to my knowledge. The SE trim package came with LSD and disk brakes so you should be able to get everything you need easily. -
I am not quite sure of all the ins and outs of these systems, but they do have a receiver on the vehicle to pick up the signal from the transceiver. Since it is happening to both fobs, the common denominator is the receiver. I have heard of people having issues with loose antennas on the receiver, which causes reduced fob range.

White sweet smelling smoke is associated with coolant leaking into the combustion chamber. This is usually from a leaky head gasket or cracked head.

When I get mine back together I will take a pic for you, if someone else hasn't.

Yes they have floating grounds. Anything that is not grounded to earth is considered a floating ground.

Planning WD21 Drum to Disc Conversion

LSD has clutch packs inside. Power can be supplied to both tires, but when you turn, the clutch packs allow slippage so the outer tire can turn faster than the inner. Open means only one tire ever gets power. There should be a orange sticker on the diff that says LSD if it is one. -
Just a thought, did you clean the inside of the terminals for the battery? Depending on how the cable looks, you may need to cut off an inch or two of the cables and put new terminals on.

I use YouTube.

Possibly a faulty knock sensor? I have never had one fail so I don't know the symptoms, but something to look into.

Read post 9 and 10 on the link you provided. Power is not bleeding back through the led, this is impossible because an led is a diode. Those two post explain what is happening.

Passenger Right Rear Door Lock Issue

It sounds like the actuator. Ohm it and see if it is in spec. -
Could have been an oil pressure issue. I had a Hyundai Elantra for a commuter car a few years ago and whenever the oil would get low the lifters would tap. Check your oil level.

Some vehicles have an ambient air temperature sensor to adjust fuel ratio.

Hows it run at idle? Is it smooth or rough?

I am not arguing any of that. What I am arguing is the statements that LEDs do not have built in diodes and that LEDs allow current to flow either direction. LEDs are diodes. That is why they don't work if you reverse the polarity. If they allowed current to flow in either direction, then polarity wouldn't matter and the led would always work no matter the polarity. LEDs have very little resistance, unlike incandescent, that is what causes the most problems. You need to install resistors in line to increase the circuit resistance enough that it doesn't look like a short and mess with things. Below are a couple of links I found that provide more info. https://www.carid.com/articles/what-do-i-need-to-know-about-installing-led-bulbs-into-my-car.html https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/diodes

LEDs are diodes. Light emitting diode. They only allow current to flow one directiin, which is why it is so important to get the polarity correct when installing LEDs. Polarity doesn't matter with incandescent, current can flow both ways.

Rear pinion would be a leak back by the differential, not by the tranny. It also would be gear oil, not ATF. Rear pinion won't be flinging fluid between the front and back doors and running down the tranny body.

02 Nissan Pathfinder what would cause my brakes to grind
Citron replied to Petercan1020's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Grind all the time, or just when applying them? Did you put the metal clips in that the pads slid on and lube the bolt that the caliper slids on? -
The dealer should be able to tell you. Then you would know what you are looking for.

I don't know on that particular tranny, but it will be two lines coming off of the side and running forward towards the radiator. It should be the only lines coming off of the transmission.
