  1. If you replace the coils, go ahead and replace both. As for the ride height. The PF, at least the 96 and up tend to sag a little on the driver's side b/c of the gas tank. When the gas tank is full you can see about an inch to an inch and a half of difference. Try measuring it with a full tank and then an empty tank. Just an idea???
  2. Camber Kits? I hear every one talking about them but I took mine to the local alingment shop after I installed my OME springs and they were still within factory spec. Do you really need a camber kit? Anyway here is a pick of OME springs on a two wheel driver. After about 3 months it still looks the same.
  3. Well just got my Pathfinder back form the stealer. I'm $275.00 broke now. The had to replace another o2 sensor and update my CPU. This should solve the problem from now on. My finger's are crossed. If not I'm putting a pc of tape over it. I didn't put a listing for 0 b/c I was mad.
  4. I would go ahead and order some new strut bearings too. If they break it will make a clunking sound.
  5. This may be a stupid poll but I just want to see if this something I can look forward to (not really) in the future of my Pathfinder. I have a little over 46,000 miles on my Pathfinder and my service engine soon like has come on for the follow thing. 1 First was an o2 sensor which I replaced. 2. Was the Valve Timing Senor which I replaced. And now it coming up P0431?? for a catalytic fault (sp?). I spoke to the stealer (I'll be dropping it of tomorrow) and they say it might be a bad cat which is under warranty, a bad O2 sensor (the one they replaced), or my computer might need to be reprogrammed. The SES light is the only problem I have had with my Nissan and it’s starting to get on my nerves. I just wanted to poll and see if anyone else is having consistent SES light problems.
  6. Correct. It's a Surly 1x1 with some old school Magura 33's. I had the same Idea about just mounting a load bar inside, but I already have Thule rack on top of my Pathfinder and I really wanted to be able to mount stuff to the floor.
  7. Front took we 10 hour and the was with the right tools but not so good spring comperssors. Taking the old springs off and putting the new ones on take the most time.
  8. I just finished my rear cargo area modification. I used a quality sheet of plywood to make a sub floor which I bolted down to factory bolt holes. I then covered it with a husky mat and bolted down two fork mounts for my mountain bike. I also added a flashlight mount and fire extinguisher. Let me know what you think.
  9. That's 10 less hours then it took me.
  10. Here 92 oct high grade ranges from $2.19 a gal to $2.36 a gal. The closer I get to Memphis the more it is. By my work right before you hit Mississippi it is $2.19.
  11. Looks good Pezzy. How long did it take them?
  12. G-man, It took me over 10 hours for the front when I installed new springs and struts. Most of it was due to the fact that the sway bar end link was stuck on the old strut and I couldn't get it off. I end up driving around without for a couple of days until Nissan go it in.
  13. Go ahead and order new strut mount bearings. And if you feel like it new struts as well.
  14. I have 6 CD's in my changer. I can't remember what they were because it's been for every since I could play them. Bose 6 disc changers are crap. Not only can I not play them, but I can't get them to eject and my favorite Lucero cd is in there. I'm just a little bitter. pssd
  15. I'm working on a sub floor so I can mount my mt. bikes in my car. I should be done by next week and I'll post some pictures.
  16. hardware, I don't know my elevation but I can't be that high. I notice the ping early and I want to get a lot of miles on my pf so I'm not going to chance it. I think it also depends on what kind of engine you have and the 3.5l are a higher compression I think???
  17. dwrounds, camber kit? what for? I put the OME springs on it was only .07 out on the driver's side and .02 on the passenger side after alignment but still in factory spec. I rotate my tire every other oil change and the guy said I prob wouldn't see any tire wear untill after 20,000 mile or so. And he said that was a maybe. Anyway just woundering, I know Project Pathfinder used them.
  18. I don't know my Pathfinder is 2 wheel drive and it handles well in snow and ice as long as your light on the gas.
  19. When I first bought my PF I used 85 oct but I got a lot of pinging with my 5 speed. It may not be as noticeable if you have an auto. But due to the high compression engine I only use 93 oct since week two of owning my Pathfinder.
  20. Try an auto parts store or wal-mart. You should be able to find something close that will fit. They gave me extra one when I bought my car but I have no idea where I put it or I would have sold it to you for cheep.
  21. Thanks 01. I guess I'll have to think about this for awhile.
  22. Ok, First let me spell this correctly "BOSE". Ok second let me see if I can get clerifaction on this BOSE stereo speaker thing. Are the amps in the speaker? If so, if I replace both the head unit and the speakers will I have to do anything else? Like rewire the whole stereo or something of that nature? Please help me out Memphis radio is killing my ears, I need my CD's. Thanks
  23. I sometimes wish it was the only thing I did. I try to ride about 2 or 3 times a week. I ride a single speed surly 1x1.
  24. Is this what you need to fix the problem? http://www.crutchfield.com/S-zTOk7KfLDhT/c...nfo&i=142C4NN03
  25. Can anyone give me feedback on this:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...9&category=6032 Is it worth the money and is it any better then what you can get at autozone? Thanks
