  1. My buddy has a '18 Ford Raptor and it has 4 undercarriage cameras (front, sides and rear) and the quality of those is decent and gives you a rough idea on what obstacles are in your way. You can also tie in all of those cameras and it gives you a "360°" view when parking to show how close you are to other cars and such. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. I dont think they make glass fog lights for an OEM replacement for the R50 Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Hm that is strange, since we both have an '02 when I swapped everything to LED's I never had that issue with the cruise control shutting itself off. The only thing I did was install the new blinker relay to stop the hyperflash of the blinkers.

  14. Been awhile since I've been on here. Truck is still alive and did some more maintenance like new wheel bearings, U joints for the front driveshaft and brake caliper. Also I was able to pick up some HID retrofits off a guy who was parting out his R50 with a ton of other goodies. After installing the retrofits the clear corners seemed off to me so I went ahead and used a heat gun to melt the glue to take them apart and painted the inside gloss black. Imo it looks a lot better Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. I used 26 inch bilstein's when I had OME MD coils in the rear and I found those to be pretty good with that setup. Those shocks were about 2 inches longer than stock if I remembered correctly. With the LR coils I got additional lift so I went with the 29 inch extended bilstein's to compensate for the additional lift and articulation. I use bilstein because I like their quality and ride handling but you can use like a Rancho or KYB shock and that should be fine Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. Good to know! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  17. Oh then I must've misunderstood when I read it a couple years back lol. Well hopefully I don't need to replace the valve covers anytime soon hahaha Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. I heard that the aluminum valve covers are slightly different in dimensions and where hardware goes, I think I read on it on NICO a long time ago and that one guy tried it and it didn't work. Yeah it sucks to replace the valve cover for the built in spark plug tube seal, my passenger side which I found were completely shot. All 3 spark plugs were drenched Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. More maintenance for the rig, new valve covers, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and coil packs. I love hitting maintenance milestones... (sarcasm) Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. Little project I wrapped up today, got some scene lights and spot lights for the rack. Got the lights off of Amazon as they work for my needs and if I ever want to upgrade to a brighter spot light I can always do so in the future but it works pretty well for the price. The spots are Auxbeam brand and the side lights are Kalwell I believe. Ran the wiring through the superstrut channel crossbar I made and down the A pillar underneath the weatherstrip. I have 360° lighting and will come handy whether camping, in a parking lot or just to see everywhere in a dark area. Some of the pictures are with the normal headlights and then the lightbar and spot lights, then looking to the side without and with the side lights on. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. I put the shroud back in, mine has a very small crack at one of the bolting points that I accidentally did a couple of years ago but overall in good shape for being 17 years old. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. Yes both lifts via coils and spacers change the angle of the axle to some degree and thus accelerate wear on boots and such. With the spacer lifts and depending on which size you get they physically move the strut down however many inch spacer you put up front. So at full droop when offroading the strut will drop farther down because the spacer pushes it down that much and that's how some people break and bind CV axles. With the coil lift at full droop itll stay the same as stock because the strut is still in it normal operating range and isn't being pushed down by a physical spacer, the only thing that prevents it from dropping too far is the maximum travel of the strut. I'm running a 1inch spacer with OME HD coils and dont have issues with binding or blowing up a CV, the only problem I have is CV boot wear. Not trying to start an argument or anything as theres tons of information out there with different styles of lifts and testimonies I'm just adding my 2 cents into the pot. 23. Yeah after replacing it I threw the old one in the air a couple of times to see if it would let go but it didnt, they are pretty well reinforced. Although I did have the thought of it letting go when I was working on the car when it was running so another reason to replace it haha Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. Yeah if I wasnt replacing the O2 sensors I would have never looked at my fan, i think it's a good idea to inspect the fan once in a while Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  25. Replaced the fan, hardest part was removing the shroud surprisingly. The old fan had lots of cracks in it I'm glad I noticed it when doing the O2 sensors because that would be a different story if it came apart Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
