  1. is the sensor built in on the defrost vent ? I can just pull the vent off and have a sensor
  2. I was planning on doing that... Itll be well worth it if it does have auto climate control..cant find anything on the fsm with a vacuum assisted unit..Im going to check also what year and model this vacuum assisted unit has that option
  3. I cannot believe that no one has suggested SAS yet
  4. yup...checking the fsm now..ill be taking pics also on the teardown process
  5. I just hope its not going to cost much, seems that all the mods ive been thinking of doing lately would cost more than just going with the simple route Those heater controls may it be manual or vacuum are always plentiful at the jy here..Im crossing my finger that it would be an easy swap
  6. Thanks bud..Sounds like a lot of work ..Im going to spend some time at the JY next week and tear apart one of the donor in there.Seems that nobody picks those control anyways Everything youve mentioned could be whats needed and some..Ive noticed also on those vacuum assisted heater controls that they have auto climate sensing but I could be wrong
  7. I run cannon on all my pathy and very happy with them. I used to have cannon (weathertech)that ive used for a good 8 years..Had it on 2 different cars They do have lifetime warranty. I usually hose mine every 2 weeks in the winter time ( in the basement ofcourse) and every month in the summer..Hang em up and spray some tire shine on it..works like a charm btw you can always get a rear carpet thats in great shape at the jy
  8. Hey guys is it possible to convert the manual heater control levers to one of those vacuum assisted heater control with buttons? Ive been thinking of doing this for as long time but not quite sure how to go about doing it. I know its probably not going to gain me any extra horsepower but just like the look of the buttons instead of the lever..lol Has anyone done this mod before? Thanks fellas
  9. that would be a stiffening cap..2 farad maybe
  10. is there a part number for the headers?
  11. could over tightening it warped the surface?
  12. what part number is the bushings on that bro?
  13. A few years back theres a thread on those big arse flares .I believe theyre islandic pathys
  14. I think a frontier flares would work. Ive been hunting down a donor frontier here at the local jy for quite some time now so I can have them remove the front and back and dry fit it to a pathy. It might need a lot of modification or a little
  15. slick has a set on hr pathy but not sure how long shes had those. You can also check on ebay and they do show up once in awhile
  16. when you guys say fuel sender would that be fuel pump?
  17. Mine was like that also when I got em, fortunately enough I was at a shop that pressed out my old bushings to get the spindle and I had them install the spindle on the new uca and found out right there that the sleeves are longer. the guy just ground it down and if fits perfect
  18. forgot to post some pics of the spring Front springs Rear springs Spring mounted on a pathy ..We think that this is a rear spring off of a 96 discovery..It looks like its not seated straight but it is.Just from the angle when I took the shot. another thing I forgot to mention is that the springs on the disco being bigger in diameter the factory cup or perch has to be utilized. 2 14 mm bolt is holding it in place. when installed that disco factory perch would sit on our pathys factory perch perfectly and gives it another inch of lift discovery factory perch
  19. Is there any way to fix the dashboard area around the vent? Posted Image heatgun should solve that
  20. He also pulled another right hand springs but the back ones looks a heck of a lot beafier so I told him to hold off on those 2 right springs ...I want to try the back springs first which I think is better than the 2 front right..I just hope that the back springs arent in 2 different sizes also but looking at it still in the rig it doesnt look like it is...the fronts are easily noticeable that theyre 2 different sizes Good thing he has his truck that day for comparison I just hope the springs are going to be much better than the JGC or f150 springs coz it cost 34 bux a piece. Cant find a land rover at pull and save for a donor.
  21. Hey guys sorry for the late update on this thread...I just got back from the jy and the dude that told me about this spring option was mistaken. He pulled out both front springs on a 96 land rover discovery and to his surprise the left side was shorter than the right and skinnier. I went out in the yard with him and looked at all the land rovers from 96-2000 and sure enough they do have skinnier springs on the drivers side than the passenger. So while he was scratching his head I asked im if could it be possible that the previous owner of that rig whre he pulled the springs out of used rear springs for the front instead of the original front coz I was looking at the rear springs and it looks more like what he had in his pathy. He swear that it came out of a 96 and both front.Hes also thinking that it might be an aftermarket springs I was short for time so I told him that ill come back wednesday and call them in advance and have him pull the rear springs out so we can measure it. I will keep you guys posted on this project
  22. Welcome to the Forum That beast looks cherry, looks like it just rolled out of the showroom floor looking from the side...One thing I noticed though is the manual winndow crank?..I didnt know 94 came with no power option. Thats the second pathy ive seen with that tire carrier. I like that better than the factory. I saw one at the JY before and I was going to pull it but the darn thing was rusted bad . Can you maybe take measurements of it when you take em off to paint it...you are going to paint that carrier right?
  23. Thats the one bro..Thanks a bunch..Happy Easter
