  1. The ultimate deciding factor is, "What is your time worth?"
  2. Had to do that on a Chevy S10 I had, and its held up extremely well. Easy process, but very unnerving.
  3. Passenger CV axle decided to come apart in two pieces. Easy change but thats what I get for having some 4wd fun on a rainy, muddy night.

  4. Finally got around to installing my tweeter kit, and slapped a few stickers on the roof rack.
  5. Precise is correct. If you wheel, then dont use them, as they give leverage on your suspension and cause ball joints to wear much faster.
  6. I think mine were about $150 a pair.
  7. Cant find it but adamzan is right. Xterra would be easier. Heres a link to a z car with one. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/94297-xterra-supercharger-on-a-vg30-project/
  8. Some australian company makes one for the pathfinders, but they're not cheap.
  9. Funny that you say that, because I have a sticker on my dash that says YETI. Not after the coolers but a buddy put it on and I left it.
  10. Actually dont get the ones that just slide on. Those are GARBAGE. You have to get the ones that bolt onto yours that come out with their own studs like these. http://g2axle.com/pages/view/spacers
  11. Found an 88 Pathfinder SE with the factory light bar for sale for parts for $300. Might just go buy it...

      ohh the targa bar

  12. Just take it to a muffler shop and have them quote your to fill in the space. Had a local muffler shop make me a 4" Muffler delete pipe that measured about 32" long and they charged me about $10.
  13. Just measured it at 22" by 9" including the mounting feet. I have to download another photo upload app, because photobucket sucks and doesnt work for me.
  14. Did anybody ever come up with another console idea that worked better?
  15. http://pacbrake.com/air/onboard-air-management/air-management-systems/ These are the ones I'm talking about.
  16. I've got the Pacbrake 2.5 Gallon On board air system on mine. My tank is on the passenger side bolted to the frame right next to my compressor under the back seats. Its a tight fit but it doesnt hang down below the frame. I use mine all the time and even added some air horns to play with. It runs to 140 PSI and does fine filling my tires and anything else I need. If your really worried about space you can get the 1/2 gallon tank, but i'd imagine your compressor would have to run most of the time to fill up tires.
  17. If you want your front speakers louder you'd have to replace with an aftermarket, or try to find one that isnt for an amped up system. The other option would be to meter the ohm's to one of the speakers. Its probably running 8 ohms, so if you took an 8 ohm resistor and sautered it in positive to negative you can drop the ohm load to 4 ohms. So in a nutshell, the deck will put out just a little more power to the speakers because of the drop in resistance.
  18. Not unless you can find one used, and good luck.
  19. Could also be a bent wire in the bulb itself making contact with the low beam when you hit bumps.
  20. Anybody having problems with the Rugged Rocks site?

  21. Make sure the two have the same gear ratio. Same speeds different RPM's sounds like different gearing to me which would affect fuel mileage.
  22. Yup you guys are correct. Hadnt really seen any consistent reviews till I searched more and found some on a tacoma forum.
  23. That sucks. If you're looking a for new steel one, I found Tactical Armor Group makes some that you can add the tire carrier and integrated reciever hitch.
  24. Found a rear bumper at a junkyard in OK shape. paint was faded to a very light grey. Took it all apart and sanded and repainted the thing. Took 15 minutes to swap my bumper and modify my new one for my 20" light bar. And NO, its not overkill.
