  1. There should be no movement. It should be pinched tight to the bushings and crush sleeve. A few washers should fix but make sure your mount isn't spread apart. Dodge pick ups are notorious for that if you dont crank down the mounting bolts with a breaker bar.
  2. You still have to tighten the torsion bars and possibly even reindex them. Theres a few good threads on that. And as far as the shocks go, I like Bilsteins because they feel firmer. But thats more of a preference. Front shock part # is 24-012454 and rear is 24-185097.
  3. Did you happen to see pricing on the door lock cylinders for the front doors?
  4. Kleinn makes a direct drive kit which consists of a smaller airhorn with a built on seleniod and built in compressor. http://kleinn.com/product/model-6126-dual-air-horn-kit/
  5. Finally got my Kleinn train horns today! Now just waiting on my compressor and air tank. Still have to figure out where I will mount my air chuck.
  6. Calling all my distributors at work, nobody carries Mile Marker around here. I can get Warn, but it has to be drop shipped straight from warn for like $275. Mile Markers website advertises $158. Are the Warn hubs really justifieable?
  7. I never let anybody else touch my vehicles, unless its an alignment. I don't trust anyone. Plus, it's always peace of mind knowing it actually got done right.
  8. So, I guess now I'm set on the manual hubs, so wheres the best place you've found to get them?
  9. I thought about taking mine apart and cleaning them but maybe i'll just search for a set of the manuals, as I dont want to make them worse. It did it again this morning but the hub unlocked itself as I was slowing down.
  10. So the other day I was driving to work and as I was nearing a stoplight, I started to downshift. All was fine until I got to First gear and I heard a "thump." My Auto hub on my driver side locked in randomly, so I pulled into a gas station and reversed to disengage the hub. It didnt act up again until today doing the same thing. Just curious if anybody else has had this happen, and what could cause that. I would like to upgrade to manual hubs, but only when I get the funds, so in the meantime I would like to fix this. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. I searched and didnt see anything about this occuring.
  11. Timing belt, cam seals, crank seals, and water pump bypass hose is finally done. Just realized my steering wheel squeks when it hits center. Anybody else have that?

  12. Got the front end of my motor torn down for timing belt/cam seals/crank seals/and bypass hose. tensioner was stuck so I pulled out my big pry bar.. lets just say Pathfinder 1- Me 0. Busted my lip open.. Felt stupid after I did it. haha
  13. I now this thread it kind of dead, but I've been looking at a set of manual hubs for my '88, but I have a set of wheel spacers on. Just curious if anybody has run manual hubs with wheel spacers on, or what problems may occur. I understand that the dial for the hubs would be set back in the wheel more, but I cant think of any other problems that may arise. Any input?
  14. Looks good. How well do the tires grip? Just curious, as I am looking at a set of those tires.
  15. Check out the Go Rhino! SR Rack. That's the one I'm ordering. Definately going to have to fab up some mounts for it though.
  16. Looked at it and got a huge grin on my face She sure sparks up a lot of ideas. Then I had to go to work
  17. Not done with it yet but heres the progress and the bolts are only there for peace of mind. haha
  18. Fabbed up a Hidden reciever hitch behind my liscence plate to accept a 2" reciever. Just bolted and welded to current reciever hitch that you had to change the ball on(not to fond of a ball on at all times.) Now I just have to figure out my hinged liscence plate and I'll be good to go!
  19. My 88 XE has manual windows and locks and cloth seats and roof rack and wing with tire carrier on inside. Oh and Factory Flares. Didnt see this was a dead post. haha
  20. I noticed it says made for 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders, so will it still work on my 88? I dont know all the differences in the 2 and 4 door models.
