  1. Its lookin pretty man. Hopefully somebody deserving gets interesting in him
  2. I tore it down to the tbelt because I wanted to check the tensioner, since I changed the belt about 6k ago and just wanted to check that the tension was still in spec.
  3. I gave up on trying to get my fan back on with the shroud, so i just yanked the shroud out. I'll just keep telling myself that I'll replace it eventually.....
  4. they gave me the wrong belt Replaced all of my belts today.... $45 cuz all NAPA had was the good ones (guess I can't complain) No more slipping and squealing!! Unfortunately, when I was tightening the alternator adjuster, the bolt head sheared, so I had to leverage a crowbar against the alternator in order to set the tension.. booo
  5. Has anybody ever had issues with not having enough adjustment track for their alternator belt? The stock belt size just seems like its too big nowadays
  6. As much as I've loved having my timing advanced slightly (more high-rpm power), I think its time to go back to standard. The lack of low-end torque is starting to get annoying from stoplights, especially now that its no longer cold out, so the truck doesn't stay at 1500 until it warms up. Before, it would usually warm up right as I got on the highway, so the stoplights up to the highway were buttery-smooth shifts. The advanced timing leaves a torque gap at around 1700-2200 rpm, so its more work than normal to rev match. Oh well... goodbye 19mpg highway!
  7. King, lol. My friends 4runner did that yesterday... good thing the fire extinguisher is mounted on the A-pillar!!!!
  8. Black and orange? Does that mean a "For Sale" sign???? NOOOOOOOOOO
  9. Yea, considering that my rear drums probably can't even lock my rear wheels up, I considered it a reasonable thing to just remove the ABS control box.
  10. It was one of the many mix-and-match Pathfinder options
  11. ^ Yea, I just ripped my ABS computer out and might re-connect it when I upgrade the abs module this summer
  12. I'm allowed to have fun too Took the roof rack off today, since riding season is just about over and I wanted to get some mileage back. Ended up getting 19 on an impromptu trip to Glenwood Hot Springs!!! Quick question for those of you that have owned your trucks for a while. My injectors seem to occasionally have an issue priming, but only when its warm outside. This causes hard starts, and it doesn't start on the first revolution of the crank like usual. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?
  13. You knew I wasn't being literal.... thats why I didn't bold/italicize/underline the statement in my original post
  14. There were a lot of those little rust spots forming on it when I bought it, and in the process of removing them, most of the clear coat was removed. Only the rear quarters still shine w/o heavy waxing
  15. I mean, the paint on mine has zero factory clear coat left, not to mention the fact that its white so its not exactly a reflective color to begin with.
  16. Shinyyyyyyyyyy. Mine only shines like that when I waste $20 wax on it
  17. The last time I saw a bay that muddy, it was in yet another dead Pathy in a JY Stole the hood from it when I smushed mine
  18. I just bashed my steering wheel until the springs pushed the contacts out further
