Yeah I've had it dig up some dirt on the last trail. But steel is harder than dirt, so no biggie. Although it really takes a crazy angle to hit it as the carrier doesn't stick out much and most sists above the hitch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just test drove it and it seems fine. Maybe a tiny bit more vibration in the wheel but I need an alignment anyway. Question for you hawairish, do you get any sounds from your SFD spacers when off-roading? I seem to get a lot of popping and creaking sounds coming from my front end over bumps. Nothing seems to be coming lose but it doesn't sound very confidence instilling. Yeah Steven told me to use their nuts. With the 19mm socket it was no problem to tighten all 6 bolts and they all seem centered. It was the 21mm that was a snug fit for the hole that didn't allow enough wiggle room for the lug centric system to work as it had no wiggle room. Steven said there is nothing wrong with the spacers. After tonight's install I will say only that they fit. How well they are centered, we will find out tomorrow. Seems ok from the naked eye's perspective. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lol yeah there isn't much a BFH, some ignorance and some brute force can't fix lol. As you can see in that pic, the Kr bracket took a good beating too as it needed some convincing. On another note, I figured out the spacer problem. Can't use the stock lug nuts, can't use 21 socket. It only works with the opened ended supplied nuts and a 19. I still need to get some more open ended 21 nuts to finish the setup before I can drive it. We'll see how it feels tomorrow. Hoping it won't shake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah figured. I'll have to drill that second hole out. It wasn't as bolt on as it looks. As you can see my drop bracket is pretty rusted, so instead of grinding it down to allow the KRYPTON bracket to sit right I just smashed it with a hammer from below and squished it together lol. Went on like a charm after. The trail shade is whatever you want it to be. The first time I test fitted it I had the trunk open and used it to support the awning. This is also the idea behind it for me as I want to have this as the cover/,connection from my truck to my tent. It's all in where you stake it in. It could also go anywhere else on my roof rack. Installed the panhard bracket today. But I don't think I'll be able to mount the second screw as it will be so close to the edge that it will likely open up completely. I'll see how this holds up with just 1. I might have to add a bracket for the bracket. And I picked up a Smittybilt trail shade a little while ago but never actually deployed it until today as I decided to work on the pathy outside in the yard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My approach angle has little to do with the SFD but rather with my bumper. It's an easy 45*. For the other measurements, ground clearance in the front, my lowest point is the front cross member where the skid boots on, 11", 10" at the control arms, and 9.8" at the center of the rear diff. Ground to fender in the rear is 39" and that is with my spare on the back. An easy 40 without it. Front sits at 39" as well, with the bumper and winch obviously. Lowest point under the chassis, is the cross brace, measuring 17.5". Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks. I still have plans for rock sliders, hood louvers, putting the spare tire on an angle and the jerries to the sides of the tire. A custom exhaust and body work for rust repair. Some pics of a run my local club did today. It doesn't show in my pics but some of the terrain we went over was more than I expected my old pathy to handle. Steeeeeevo has not responded to my email yet! And to make things more confusing, I stacked and screwed all 4 calipers together and they are all identical. Yet the front 2 fit and the rear 2 don't! All my 6x5.5 rims however fit perfectly. Scratching head... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't have a caliper so I just used my Mk1 eyeball. I laid a wheel down flat and simply put the spacer over top in line with the holes, with the naked eye it is visible that the holes aren't perfectly in line but off by just a bit. Even though I got the front ones on, I removed then again because they were causing my steering wheel to vibrate again. That alone means they aren't perfect. I wrote steeve at RR, just waiting to hear back. I was under the impression their products were high quality. We'll see what he says. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

One thing about CB's, they don't have a lot of range! You just need to be able to talk to the vehicles in your convoy if you are in a larger group on the trails. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't know much about CB radios TBH but someone that does tried to tune mine and no matter what we tried, he couldn't get the SWR reading to even a decent level, it was/is very high. Yet my radio works perfectly fine and I've used it quite a bit over decent distances. So I'm sure you have nothing to worry about with those readings lol. Got pics of the install? I ordered 1.5 inch spacers from Rugged Rocks, that were specifically advertised as R50 Pathfinder product. No doubt in my mind these would fit. Bolt pattern 6x5.5. Same as my pro comp rims. Somehow I managed to fit the front ones on. But the rear ones just don't line up quite. As soon as I put the socket in, which fits perfectly into the hole and around the stud, it pushes the spacer off center. But the only way I can tighten them is by having the socket go in. So as soon as I tighten one, all the others now aren't center we and therefore can't be tightened. What's going on here?!? PATHFINDER 87-04 has metric bolt pattern Of 6×139.7, which AFAIK equals the 5.5 inch pattern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
