  1. Yeah I agree with you on most of the above. The X I drove was the SC one and that extra power was nice. Although the fuel Milage was worse than on mine!! I think a 34" tire would be perfect for my ride height Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk

  3. I gotta say after having that Xterra for a week, I've developed a bit of a mixed feeling for my Pathy. I like the Pathy interior better, but this look, especially since my buddy put the exact same rims on his X that I have on mine, this has really grown on me. Both are sitting on 33's but my 33's now look small in comparison, due to the lift I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  4. I don't see the need for an actual tire carrier attachment. I tie mine with a ratchet strap as well when I carry it up on the basket, which I do from time to time. Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  5. Yeah pretty sweet deal. Especially when this is the super charged "loaner" I get for the week! It's even worse on gas but I love how it actually makes it possible to pass people on the highway lol Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  6. Finally getting around to this: Should be done by Friday. Gave it my buddy Who was kind enough to finish this for me while I'm deployed on Ex and gave me his Xterra for the week. Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  7. 7 inch is too small! 15x8 is a minimum otherwise you restrict yourself for options in the future. If you ever go to 33's you will want 12.5 wide tires and 8 wide rims is minimum you can go with. Otherwise you will have the pizza cutter wagon wheels look. Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  8. Well let's see, it's an 18" Seadoo, weighs 1950lbs dry without the trailer. Add trailer give or take 450lbs, add the water, I'd say it took on about 150-200 litres, = about 400lbs, plus my 33's and spare tire carrier (200lbs) looking at an easy 3000lbs. Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  9. I last towed it up a sandy slope out of the water after it had taken on a ton of water from a rain storm. Bulge pump drained the battery. 3.3 pulled it out seemingly without any issues. Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  10. This is correct, but what it doesn't tell you is what lens he used: Canon 7D with Sigma 18-35 lens. And this is my pathy putting my boat away... summer's over, Halloween is almost here, and snow is just over the horizon...
  11. And instead of relocating the windshield washer fluid, I decided to protect it instead, seen here:
  12. When I had mine initially mounted, it incorporated a bracket that tied into the tow hooks. One day I leaned on it and noticed it wiggled a bit. The front mounting by itself is not strong enough. At this point I had never winched the pathy yet, only used it to winch my tractor. (Still fairly new at that point). Immediately I revisited the design and the only bullet proof way of mounting this bumper is by welding it onto the unibody "frame". I've since winched a hydro seed trailer out of a ditch, my dock out of the water and over a river bank, and my law tractor yet again...apparently I need to stop trying to off-lawn with it Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  13. I like how this is coming along. It's not every day that people go with 18" rims on these lol. Looks good, but that won't give you a lot of room to air down your tires. Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  14. Lol someone's been creeping... Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk
  15. Not my pics. Our group photographer took them, the guy in the FJ. No idea what camera. Sent from my iPhone using using Crapatalk
  16. Don't worry, mine's quite rusted. I chip away at it and spray undercoat and bedliner all over everything. My rocker panels have holes rusted straight through. They are getting replaced soon. All you can do is stay on top of it. But once rust is there, it's there to stay. All you can do is slow it down. Sent from my iPhone using using Crapatalk
  17. Nice!! Much cleaner than my butchering. But I had to fold a lip inwards for my fenders to screw into. I need a saw like that one! Sent from my iPhone using using Crapatalk
  18. They are universal flexible fenders. Can be found all over eBay, Amazon etc Sent from my iPhone using using Crapatalk
  19. Which one do you want? Also, this: Sent from my iPhone using using Crapatalk
  20. Talking about my rear carrier I assume? If so, it's a hitch mount. Sent from my iPhone using using Crapatalk

  22. I had around 1200km clocked on my trip odometer when I got home. It was a great time. Same group as the guys that went on the Train Expedition except a few less. And this time I went without adult supervision nor toddler in tow, so the nights around the campfire were a bit less tame lol. Sent from my iPhone using using Crapatalk
  23. Registration for the last section, Kathadin Iron Works Camp night 2 The END

  25. Then this happened: All fixed up, made it the rest of the trip with no issues Night 1
