  1. My rear wiper works only here and there. The fluid never has even though the pump does, I can't find where it's clogged either. Oh well I have bigger problems to fix first LOL..
  2. Check out the car on supernatural series. Same rims that precise1 has, 67 Chevrolet impala . LOL
  3. Hey B. How much does that bumper wght? I know it's heavy, how much more did you have to turn your torsion bars to keep the front up? I'm just trying to plan for the wght before I have the alignment done.
  4. Wow....which two. There's like 20different kinds there. LOL
  5. Can you post a good picture so we can get a better look at the details. It would really help
  6. Update, I have ordered all moog brand parts from rock auto, and there already sitting in the garage ready for me to come and install. I was able to get all four tie rods, center link, sleeves and tension rod bushings for $202 delivered. Look for those warehouse clear out markers. They save you big time.
  7. Has anyone dealt with adventure accessories? I'm seeing that they are advertising the ARB bumper for the wd21 as available, and SteeevO used to have them linked to his site. I might try to order one ???
  8. Left it the driveway to get a good mother nature car wash
  9. Once I get my basket I'll install like that, I think it's looking good. Nice job
  10. Hey, I have to appoligize too you. I didn't realize you were in Sweden. I don't know what you have for parts or mechanical support. There are a few websites that say they have winch bumpers or mount. I'm looking into having a front hitch mounted on, then I can use a winch cradle and use it on either end of truck. Again please excuse my ignorance.
  11. It can be done, just will need to get a good welder you trust to mock up and weld together and to the point of strength. That's probably one of the most asked question about the wd21 pathfinder.
  12. How's that diagram of the bumper coming along. To bad my schedule was so tight yesterday, I could of helped you with it. People gotta get they're wine though..LOL
  13. You just didn't want to get wet, it was dumping pretty good there this morning. LOL
  14. Even though the tie rods were not listed, they could be part of the loose feeling/wobbling that was noted. I would check out the center link also. Rock auto has the right parts, I just ordered the whole setup, center link, 4 tie rod ends, adjusting sleeve, and the tension rod bushings for $204 delivered. All moog brand parts. Also you have some minor leaks, I can give you a good quick fix... my ex-son in law had a good transmission leak along the pan join, he washed it up with gunk and let dry out. Then he sprayed the whole thing with clear flex seal, the kind you see on infomercials. I know it sounds like a red neck fix, but I know it worked real good, he stopped leaking fluid all over my driveway. A hard ware store or auto parts store should have the spray sealant. Hang in there, I felt something like you did just last week. I keep fixing one part and then find something else that needs fixing, WELL after I did a simple tune up the truck ran so rough I thought it was blown, however a few guy's here got me refocused and found a simple ground wire was broken off, I was going to give up, have been working on it since January last year and still haven't got the truck good enough to drive around more than local store and back. I got into the truck as a project that I knew would be a slow process, however its frustrating to get thing fixed and then find 5 more things to throw cash at. It's not just parts also, there is all the new tools you need to complete the repairs, they cost more cash than the parts at times, but then sit in the tool box until you need to make the same repair in 5 or more years. Sorry about the long story, the short of course is when we get done with the repairs, we will have a truck that we can smile at and know it is one of the best 4x4 trucks made. Stand strong and we will all help you through it. Never be afraid to ask for help, I know I sure ask alot and get good advice from all the very smart people on here. So here's to the future Nissan Pathfinder that will take you to all the adventures you have and want!! B-)
  15. Not a problem for you being particular on numbers back in my high school days, I was the winner of The Washington state vocational student of the year award for machinest. So yeah I know what you mean. The ground wire end had broke off, I just got a new one and bolted down, no more roughness...
  16. I'm not going to say I know what your feeling, just from the description, I think you might have some bad tension rod bushings. If not those then maybe a loose anti sway bar/bushings. Before I did the 3 inch lift, I had a similar issue with the truck and since I replaced the bushings and ends the wiggle stopped. I still have the tension rod bushings to replace, but slack there could cause a back and forth motion. If unsure jack the front off ground and try wiggling the axle assembly front to rear, and tug on the anti sway bar, watch it at the ends and at the two bushings on cross member. Hope that helps you out maybe it just needs a bit of tightening until you can get fixed.. G
  17. With help from a few good guy's on here, fixed the bad tune up...bad ground wire...thx y'all
  18. Just got back from the doctor office and took a good look, wiggled the wires and lo and behold guess what I found? Haha ha haha silly me, know I should have been able to see it before I cried out for help...dummy ME! I found a simple little ground wire in front of the dist. Cap that was loosely hanging there next to block. Secured the wire good and tight and Walla no more problems. Idle is smooth and in gear is smooth. Now when it stops pouring down cat's and dogs, will test drive at speed and power. Thanks all for the quick response, I really appreciate the information given, it did help me out.and yes .031/.035 thanks for the hand slap..I know better than that. And the wires are Taylor ,9mm hi energy, shielded plug wire's, from summit racing. All plug wire's were good and tight.
  19. Help'......I'm not stupid, but I am very confused about the truck and how much longer I can be patient with it. I did a tune up last week end. Pulled the plug wire's and replace them with a good quality set, replaced the spark plugs and set at proper gap per manual.(.31-.35) almost every plug taken out were in the .70 range. Replaced the cap and rotor new. The old cap had a crack, and 3 of the wires were separated at the plug and just arcing across, then a oil, filter change. The problem I have with it is, the truck ran real good for the most part, I did the tune up and now it's sputtering and running really rough.. Makes no sense why it runs so much worse with new parts and proper gaping. Help me make sense of all this and what the H{¥ I'm not doing right. Thanks I hope.
  20. started truck up to warm up and found out more tune up work needed.
  21. I bit the bullet and ordered the parts from rock auto. I think I got a good deal..$207 for 4 tie rods, center link, sleeves, and tension rod bushings. All moog brand and includes the shipping costs. I might finally get it done soon? Moved it out of the garage for different project.
  22. isnt it amazing how much noise those make when they go? the idler pulley, was the very first item I fixed when I got the pathy from the daughter...wow how much better when that gets replaced, I thought the noise was from the ac compressor, thank god it was something so easy and cheap. $6.00 at parts geek...here's to no more noise!
  23. There's also self sealing tape, you can get it at AutoZone or any other parts store, it wraps around like rubberized electrical tape. It seals higher pressure than puddy.
  24. I used to own a landscape company back in my younger days. I think it's better to invest in a good sound wd pathfinder over the r50, you would have a frame to tow with not a unibody. Besides when you get to your customers you will represent your company in a positive manner. Besides the reliability you would get with a lower mileage unit. As for your current truck I would keep it for your play truck or a part truck. Congrats on the new house and good luck with the landscape company, toughline of work.
  25. A temporary fix that might help? We rub bar soap on leaks on semi trucks. I have been able to drive for over a thousand miles with the soap seal on a water/ fuel separator that is under high pressure. But it's only a temporary fix that can get you by until you can fix permanent.
